Hi there, I bought an MSI RX 570 8GB Gaming X with a different BIOS (mining?) flashed into it.

I really want to flash it to get it working normally again, but I am unsure of what BIOS to use.
There are so many choices I do not want to run the risk of bricking the card.

If you guys can direct me to find the proper BIOS for the car that would be wonderful.

Here is the link to the model numbers and chipset.

Thanks

If you post up a screenshot of GPUZ this will help as it helps to know the device and subsystem ID, that's likely why you have found so many you can whittle them down with this info

That doesn't help if the card has been flashed previously as the I.D can change.
Part numbers from the sticker on the rear, and knowing the exact type of Vram is more important, remove the shroud to physically check the Vram modules.

I linked the VRAM chips and the sticker if you want to take a look.

Ill hold off on flashing it until I can find one that will probably work.

Pictures can be directly uploaded from your computer to TPU.
For reasons, I don't go to Imgur or other external picture hosting sites.

Did you try the one I linked?

Rarely the ID changes unless it's been force flashed, he already uploaded a pic of the card S/N and Vram chips which I cross referenced with the vBIOS link I sent to him, have you any to link to?

Try this one:

Should be good to go.
I wasn't questioning your choice, I just wanted to see the pics and confirm for myself.

Usually the drive is toast when that happens.
Luckily they are fairly cheap.

15.) Prepare to flash your GPU using the following command substituting "0" with whatever device number your GPU is. and substitute xx with your .rom name.

How do you find the device number for my GPU. Is it RX570 or 349, is it listed on the video card sticker.

Device number is 1 or 2 depending on it's position, if you are using another card as the primary so you can see the screen, that will be 1.
2 will be the card you want to flash.

Is there a reason why ATIflash says:

adapter not found

Why don't you use the GUI amdvbflash.exe

I just attempted to use amdvbflash.exe for the BIOS you guys gave me and it says:

this version of bios is already installed

I then used DDU, and then attempted to use amdvbflash.exe and it says the same thing.

Do you guys have any other recommendations for an alternative BIOS

Sorry for the delay, I found one other in the unverified files that matches up to your card: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/213807/213807 could you try this one and see how you get on?
