I don't think they are that smart, you can tell by the naming scheme on that machine, Dis 1, no doubt the other machine is called Dat 1.

And the prototype testing kit is probably called 'Wog 1'

since november or december 2017 dude join intel and from then there is no graphic cards out for 4 years all they do just marking slides . Glad amd kick that clown out so they can make big navi.
the problem with intel is they're dying and there is no escape but to sell themself to samsung or nvidia or may be some china owners in order to be back in the again. A high tech company with zero innovation since 2015 . It's a sinking ship ........at this rate intel will kill itself within 7 years. And soon amd will follow intel footprint

Well, they have launched a much better GPU architecture since then, so it's not like they've done nothing. Also, do you have even the slightest idea how long it takes to design a modern GPU or other advanced chip from the ground up? Four years would be a pretty short design cycle for something needing changes that big. 1st gen Ryzen was in the works for more than 5, after all.

It's what I've been thinking. A lot of people complaining about Raja's work or lack-there-of (and I'll admit that sometimes I've joined in the "fun"), but how long does it take to make a GPU arch? RDNA launched just two years later after Raja left. Of those two years, at least the last six months were probably spent testing RDNA prototypes close to final design and then ramping up production for launch. So, could they actually have made RDNA in the year and half after Raja left?

Plus, Raja does have a history of working at various companies at different times, so maybe all this thing of "Raja Koduri bad" is just a misconception?

Intel has to get its act together and deliver now, trust me it will sell all their gpus in few days, if crypto crashes then Intel will not sell even 1 gpu hehe, market will be abundant with nvidia 3070 for 300 usd, right now 3070 are being sold for 1400 usd.

Would be cool if the market crashed, but sadly it wont happen in the closest months...
