Hoses look to short on the 360 to front mount it with the hoses at the bottom.
Having the hoses at the top makes the refill port at the bottom moot.
That should be a secondary concern.

This explains the other, more important reasons why the position/orientation of your AIO is important, noise, failure, short lifespan and lame cooling.

Do you have a source on that ? The pump placement is similar, but the pump itself doesn't seem to be the same. Enarmax is also using that concept, but their pump also got different spec.
At alphacool, the pumps have connectors on the top. The last "pure loop" had the pump on the tubes. It was an adaptation of the orcus. For this SL2, refill port and bottle still reminds me of Raijintek but the radiator looks different. I am waiting to see the reviews.

I did a bit of research, the oem for the pure loop is actually a company called "KD industrial". Hexus and Vortez mentionned them :

It's nice that a company has this much trust in their product.

The Silent Loop 2, 280mm will go perfect with my bequiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 case.
No kind of water cooling goes well with that case if unmodified.

I'm interested. Just gotta wait wait wait for the reviews

As any smart enthusiast should do, and I approve of this

WHADAFUKISHIMA ?????

Is this some b.s. or what ?

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, I can confirm that Silent Loop 2 will not be available in the USA... The reasons are well discussed in this very thread and over numerous threads for the past 7+ years at this point.

Probably due to some patent BS.

Sad GIF by Pokémon

This has to do with asetek patents or china bans. Enjoy :)

If I was a betting man, I would look more toward the former than the latter.

Warranty period?

3 years

You guys are too fast for me

I don’t typically use AIO’s but that’s a really nice looking cooler. Love the minimalist design of the CPU block/pump.

This is what we do, or try to in any possible product.

Well, I do use AIO's, and have been thinking about a replacement for my H115i, which will probably go poopoo after 6 long years of hard workin, hehehe :D

And I too really like the asthetics of this unit, as it would go perfectly with my rig (black & red), but it won't do me no good to look at this one since I can't get it :(

figures :(

Where's our bEqUiEt rep when we need her ?????

Happy they use Silent Wings 3 fans over their Pure Loop 2! Hopefully it'll be available in Canada

Silent Wings 3 are great fans but don't discount Pure Wings 2 as they are great fans and a great value when you don't need everything the Silent wings offers.

Looks nice, my NH-D15 is nicer tho

Thank you, and the D15 is kind of the benchmark for most enthusiasts, so it's good company to be in. Although lets wait for reviews and see how it stacks.

Same here mostly because they are designed with a short service life but designs like this seem to have addressed that.

And yeah, this is a great looking cooler, too bad about the patent abuse...

It is a great looker, I myself being in the USA would love to have one. I am sure I could get one for myself, but if you guys cannot have one, I will not either.

No I don't think it's alphacool. This collaboration on the first Silent Loop had been a failure ... The recent pure loop comes from raijintek but dont sure for this...

That's definitely incorrect in regards to the Silent Loop OEM, but we traditionally do not discuss the partners we work with, this will be explained in the post proceeding this.

I bet this AiO would perform better with non-bequiet fans that have a square frame to seal against the radiator.

You are free to test this, and I welcome it! I love seeing if there are ways you guys can make our products even better when possible. Keep in mind, the parts are selected specifically to work together, but that does not mean that a specific altered combination cannot net better results if you spend the time to try several things.

The 360 unit costs a bit more than the Arctic 360 but it does give you additional features like the ability to refill and controlling fan speed and the pump separately(it seems).
It would have to perform similarly to be worth it in my opinion.

Those features are handy, and soon you will see the performance from the testing of several reviewers to show you how it stacks :)

where is the 420mm version?

This might sound silly, but I'd do the 280 over the 360, since its a small enough difference.

I like 140 mm-based coolers when they can fit with other components. And who knows we may see more offerings in the future if the demand is there.

Not available in the U.S?
Can anyone explain why?

This horse has been thoroughly beaten over the years, I don't even address it anymore. It is a specific situation that is out of our control, but we are constantly working to ensure we can get these products available to you.

I like it. Waiting for reviews first.

As it should be, and i hope you love it even more after the reviews :)

Asetek patent. Blocks any pump on block AIO sold in the US

Yes, yes it would

That should be a secondary concern.

Well, take this with a grain of salt, as even Steve admits it depends on how much air is in the loop, which with the ability to top off the cooler helps eliminate the issue which is exacerbated by the orientation.

At alphacool, the pumps have connectors on the top. The last "pure loop" had the pump on the tubes. It was an adaptation of the orcus. For this SL2, refill port and bottle still reminds me of Raijintek but the radiator looks different. I am waiting to see the reviews.

Wait for the reviews sounds like a good plan

I do not confirm or deny OEM stuff as I will explain shortly in a follow-up post, however, I will not dispute your findings for PL2

It's nice that a company has this much trust in their product.

We have much trust in our products and their capabilities. As someone who has built a fully liquid-cooled rig in a Dark Base Pro 900 and the Rev 2, I would disagree. However, I also know what your point is and I wholeheartedly agree that some aspects of every case can be improved. and to this, I say... Stay tuned :)

Hey guys, I am making a separate post in regards to some questions here...

In regards to OEMs:

A lot of relevance is given to OEMs in many scenarios deservedly so when a product is simply relabeled and dropped into the shelf.

However just to clarify, the reason I tend to not discuss OEM in regards to be quiet! products are as follows.

We normally do not disclose partners we work with for products, as we invest a lot of time in the tweaks, engineering, and changes within a product be quiet! offers. The reason for this is that we do not want the efforts of our team to create and offer a premium product to be overshadowed by the misunderstanding of something being "just a renamed OEM product."

In regards to USA & Canada availability:

Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to offer Silent Loop 2 in the USA, for reasons outside of our control and that have been exhaustingly covered over the past nearly decade. However, in regards to Canadian availability, I cannot confirm or deny it at this time. I am checking with my team on this and will hopefully have an answer to this soon.

If someone wanted one I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard or really even that expensive to get one imported, and I doubt any patent storm troopers would come busting down your door if you did. A bit of a shame you have to jump through so many hoops though.

Is this because of restricted intake? I'm happily using air (DRP4), just curious if the SL2 would at least perform similarly

Front intake is practically nonexistent because the door thickness restricts the already small intake area to a few millimeters when closed. I noticed this when I removed all the airflow restrictors behind the mesh.
I don't know about smaller rads but with dual 420s in the DBP900, water temperature dropped by 15C with the door open or 10C with reduced fan speeds. So this is one of those cases where the system can run quieter when open. We call it an incubator for a reason.

If you insist on installing a radiator, mount it in the top as exhaust but inside the chassis. Make sure to close off the unused openings to not recirculate heated air. You might need to lower the motherboard tray to the lowest position.

Awesome! I'd suggest looking into supplying MemoryExpress.com! Canada Computers, Newegg.ca etc are a huge bummer in terms of sales experience and support, especially in physical locations at CC. Memory Express has opened a bunch of new locations and their support is great :)

First of all, thank you very much for the suggestion :)

I am working with our sales team to get more availability and outlets, I will definitely be dropping this suggestion their way.

Thank you for sharing, I think it is a great cooler, which I really wish I could offer here in the USA.

I'm loving my Bequiet Silent Loop 2 View attachment 197650

Ok, I'm jelly... I don't even have a SL2, and I work here -_-

Nice Silent Wings you got there. Love these fans. At 900 RPM they keep the insides of my Pure Base 500DX cool and are very quiet.

I  Silent Wings 3, my custom loop/built has a total of 10x Silent Wings 3 120mm fans, and no it does not hover.

I still need to swap over to a Silent Base 802, but I'm a bit too lazy atm.

Also before you ask, I did not get them free, and actually bought them from aquatuning when I got all my alphacool gear for my loop well before I joined be quiet!

So, I guess you could say Im also a long term tester of the Silent Wings 3 :D

No complaints at all with them, these fans are the best I've tested in a while mainly because they have no motor noise or dumb hum when installed on my front panel. I'm surprised I was even able to install it with pushpins on my Pure Base 500DX front panel, since it's all continuous and not individual holes for fans.

They make noise above 1100 RPM but I don't need them to spin that fast. 900 RPM max is enough.

I would be interested in the noise you hear, also do you have the "high-speed PWM" models or the standard speed?

I only ask as I would like to tweak mine a bit and see if I experience the same. (I have the "high-speed PWM" 120mm models in my rig.)

Edit: I know from your build listing you have the 140mm PWM but are they the standard, or the high-speed model?

I have high speed 140mm PWM models, but I kinda wish I bought the regular 1000rpm models now seeing as more than 900 rpm does nothing for my temps.

The noise is a weird resonant hum that occurs at around 1100 RPM. Not a problem since I'm never spinning them that fast but it's there.
