im hoping to see a new 400 dollar card to compete with the likes of 1060/1660/580

you seem to be ignoring silicon shortages
its hurting even car manufactures so its gonna be hurting pcs that use SILICON
mining is one of the issues but not the primary

Yes, what we need is more cars, in a lockdown all around the world and people are stuck in their homes. LOL! Clown world, honk honk. And with fewer jobs and income too, HOOOOOOOOOOOONK! At least with extra silicon allocated to computers, people can generate income from their homes without having to drive to a job.

Bovine feces.

TSMC is at all times high capacity, meanwhile NV has entire Samsung 8nm to itself.

They hating.
Nothing speaks "zero emissions" more than CEO of a company, that just introduced new power connector standard to feed its power hungry CPU, posing with an electric vehicle.

Was it "hating" enough?

Jensen Huang can buy whatever he wants. His current wealth is 13.6 billion dollars but I was surprised that he only owns 3.6% of Nvidia.

Companies and caring about the environment don't go together. You could also replace the word "companies" with "capitalism" and it would still be accurate.

As opposed to socialism which is extremely environment-friendly. Trust me, I've experienced it first hand. You couldn't find products to buy, much less create waste.

So the capitalist companies force people to buy their products?
Or is it the public purchasing products, and by proxy pushing for more consumption, and what is the solution according to you?
Forced rationing by people you agree with?

With all times high demand. Do the math. Capacity means nothing without demand. It's their inability to scale that is crippling them.

Lets hope he has a 3070 so we can upgrade from 2016. The best news would be immediate supply shipments of 3070/3080's by some unknown recent discovery that helps them create them without costly silicon and fab time. What we actually will get is 3080ti release dates :(

We would be happy with them saying, "rsvp your 3080, 1 per order per credit card, and $250 off if you send us your 1080ti's." or "pre order 3080ti by sending in your 3070/3080 so we can send them out to those who need them most.

I cant wait for questions about if Nvidia is directly involved with the smuggling of GPUs.
I hope it gets asked but I'm sure it will get silenced.
I find it mind boggling that neither AMD or NVIDIA actually said anything about this craze lol it almost tells you that they're involved in it.

I love how you both assume I'm a socialist just because I have the common sense to criticize this system that's very obviously not doing wonders for the planet, and never will be, since it's built on pollution and constant growth & inducing mindless consumerism when it's not needed. The fact that people aren't even allowed to criticize it without others coming to that conclusion is just sad and shows how well it's established itself as the de facto economic system without any fear of being replaced.

But that's enough politics for this forum, contact me if you want to continue arguing so we don't fill this thread with political filler. Or don't, I'm not up for pointless debates. Had too many.

I love how you assume I assume you're a socialist, even though I implied no such thing.
I was just adding to the train of thought you started.
