I am so confused after seeing Guru3D 4k RT results and this one. 3060 beats 3060ti and 3070 there on RT 4k results. https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pag..._graphics_performance_benchmark_review,7.html

by looking at comparison section , I can't see big different between RT On/Off. right now I played demo version and works well with RX480.
Have a look at the 6GB 5600 XT vs 8GB 5700 XT in this game: Since 1080p VRAM usage fits in the 5600 XT's 6GB buffer, 1440p VRAM usage just barely fits, while 4K VRAM "only" fits in the 5700 XT's buffer, you'd expect the performance to tank on the 5600 XT at 4K:
1080p - 27.6% faster 5700 XT
1440p - 26.3% faster
4K - 24.4% faster
Doesn't look like the "shortage" of VRAM hindered the 5600 XT much.
And the 4GB 5500 XT got 76fps at 1080p. Why would someone think that sucks?

Cause when Vram maxes out, performance becomes a stuttery mess, regardless of high frame rates, the reason for that is the game start using system memory, which is slower than GDDR video memory, that might cause stuttering issues in games and frequent crashesHave a look at the 6GB 5600 XT vs 8GB 5700 XT in this game: Since 1080p VRAM usage fits in the 5600 XT's 6GB buffer, 1440p VRAM usage just barely fits, while 4K VRAM "only" fits in the 5700 XT's buffer, you'd expect the performance to tank on the 5600 XT at 4K:

I'm pretty sure some of them are on the wrong side as sliding across to RT Off actually makes the picture worse when that should be an improvement.RT screenshots look almost if they are in the wrong side. I guess the implementation is really bad, the only good one is with the floor reflections.

Hell yeah I was shocked when i got constant stable 59 60 fps with 1060 6gb i7 4770k 2x8ram. I was expecting mid 30-40s . And looks beautiful.Nice to see companies making games playable and still beautiful on even older hardware. I respect that a lot. So many companies keep pushing the edge of performance, and it really ends up hurting the experience imo cause I'd rather have high frame rate.

Me too. I still don't think RT is a visual changer, it's just like a small difference in lighting setting, little bit darker here, little bit lighter there, and barely noticeable.by looking at comparison section , I can't see big different between RT On/Off. right now I played demo version and works well with RX480.

I think my language is clear enough? Also "everything turned on" = fail like Guru3D. You don't want variable rate shading on, because it looks very badit’s not “highest” setting if you conviently leave RT off. Either have everything turned on or it should not be called as such. Period.

No plans for that, don't have an UW monitor, too niche to justify buying one (and the physical space). and testing time. Shouldn't you be able to roughly interpolate the numbers based on 1440p/4K ?love the review and benchmarks, i have a question/request.. do you think you can include the
ultrawide resolution benchmarks for us niche ultrawide monitor users? if its not too much trouble

I got two 3090FTW3 from Microcenter at $1799 ($1955 with tax).

Yeah, if you're unsure, wait for a sale. What I forgot to mention is that sometimes the movement speed felt a bit slow, maybe 20% too slow, possibly in an attempt to prolong playtime. But Resident Evil is generally slow movement. Cheat Engine Speed Hack helps, but desyncs the cutscene audioAccording to W1zzard he said it took him 10 hours to complete but he felt extremely well entertained during those hours. I would much rather have 10 hours of that than 15 or 20 hours of mediocre gaming filled with filler material just to stretch the game length out.
If you wait for maybe a year then you can probably pick it up for $30 to $40 on a good Steam Sale.
