Hi,
Clearly optimus foundation handles higher clocks better so try on HEDT chips man :)

AVX offset 0-3 used
Really shows Heatkiller 4 pro doesn't at handle 1.24v and 4.8 using avx 3 which brings the clock down to 4.5 if avx content is hit but still hits 90c

4.5 All core 1.24v would get HK to 88c and within 10c core temp spread highest core temp to lowest core temp but too little too late this is also using static mounts like optimus blocks use
HK 2066 mounting system was crazy worse

Foundation all tests were within 10c core temperature spread highest to lowest core temps.
HK 14-12c I believe but all tests were 90c or over.

Little image shows preferred mount position

Optimus Foundation verses Heatkiller 4 pro 4.5-4.8 avx 0-3.png

Hey guys, yes, no Facebook for us. Twitter is our only social media.

For replies and ETAs, COVID has caused problems, but we're working like crazy to get everything shipped out. We're a bit behind on emails. Threadripper blocks are starting to ship this week! Really :)

Other items are either in stock or being made, but with variable ETAs. Some of our production partners are delayed, like our acrylic supplier and anodizing partner. COVID is making everything all wonky, especially as some states open, some are closed, some people are sick, etc.

Buyer BEWARE. Not returning emails for three weeks now. Does not respond on FB or Twitter yet he is still taking mine and many others credit card payments. View attachment 154812
Hey Anthony,

Yeah that's not us.

Regarding your order, the last I see is you added 2 flex fittings and we're working on the order. Though Matt (not me) may have been communicating with you. I'll check with him when he's back in the office. Our office hours are different because of COVID. Apologies for the confusion, let us know what you want to do by emailing us at contact@....

To give a comparison, so that we all get some idea of what has been happening around the world, is likely similar to what Scan UK (one of our big 3 PC parts companies here in the UK).
Their delivery times went from next working day to 'up to 7'. This is because of a number of factors,
1) Many people ordered pieces of PC to enable them to work from home, these orders were prioritised first
2) Their warehouse staff were split up so that they were working in two shifts, to allow for social distancing and their own safety
3) Their admin/sales staff did the same. So whilst their orders increased a lot, their staff levels were effectively halved, and this does not take into account any sickness/leave of any staff
4) Everything above is then duplicated on a massive scale for whichever mailing service is used to deliver the products to you.

I bought a waterblock from Optimus PC for a 3990x and a Asus motherboard. The block unfortunately will not fit correctly. I emailed Josh there and he asked if I want to return. I had to wait months for this block. Frustrating to say the least.

Hi,
That would be the absolute thread ripper block not a amd foundation block so the thread ripper block didn't fit seen a few with no issues installing
But yeah there was a timmme optimus was swamped and not sure they ever surfaced again skipping straight to nvidia 30 series water blocks and abandoning 20m series all together.

Hey guys, the problem is with the Threadripper socket mount. Some batches of Foxconn sockets (particularly on ASUS) are poorly made and the mounting standoffs aren't straight. So where the standoff centers are 46mm, when posts are installed, the top of the post will be 47.5mm. So Foxconn installed the press-fit standoffs incorrectly. One can try and bend the socket standoffs back into place, or RMA the board. We've seen this before, the socket is a known problem and they honor RMAs for this.
