The leading global motherboard, graphics card, and small form factor PC manufacturer, ASRock, proudly announces its 10 liters concept PC, the DeskMini Max for AMD platform. DeskMini Max is the ultimate DeskMini series built for a variety of applications. This product supports the latest AMD Ryzen CPU and APU, discrete graphics card as well as up to 128GB DDR4 U-DIMM memory with the proprietary motherboard. It provides exceptional performance for daily computing, gaming, business, home entertainment, and content creation.

The DeskMini Max reserves four PCIe slots space for expansion in a compact case. This design allows it to accommodate various kinds of peripheral devices, including the PCIe card, 5.25" ODD, 3.5" HDD, or a single radiator liquid cooler. Furthermore, the DeskMini Max is capable of creating a mini workstation through RAID function and four U-DIMM slots which support ECC memory modules. DeskMini Max is flexible to configure and ready for any applications.

Moreover, DeskMini Max offers one M.2 SSD, two SATA ports, and nine USB ports, involving an onboard Type-C port built on the front I/O for charging the mobile device and data transfer. Support up to three display monitors to be used simultaneously without adding an extra graphics card. The DeskMini Max includes an internal 500W 80 PLUS bronze certificate power supply unit with customized cable length. The customized power supply unit makes cable management easier, saves space, and has better performance of heat dissipation.

The brand new DeskMini Max continues the design concept of simple installation and upgradability from the previous DeskMini Series. Therefore, it could be set up in a few minutes to save time and effort. Combined all of these features in one incredible PC, there is no doubt that the DeskMini Max can meet the user's expectation.

That is one shitty looking case considering that it is "redefining a new standard" :D If this is the standard, then no thank you! everything about it screams dirtcheap production!

It's a Dell dude!

Not sure why four expansion slots would be useful when it's based on the ITX standard.

Another point that no one has commented on; let's take the hot air coming out of the power supply and pipe it into the CPU cooler.

While this might be an okay idea for A/C units in automobiles, I somehow believe this is going to fall into the "bad" category where CPUs are involved.

no too much hot air coming out of the psu, it runs as an exhaust fan, hello.
but surely enough the cpu fan is competing for the same air. suffocating the whole thing
could be reduced to 2.5 slot, and install slim deshroud mod fans.

I don't like the power supply being over the cpu socket. Makes tower style coolers impossible. :(

This looks like a generic mITX case from 5 years ago, nothing special and many better cases out there.

I really like the Deskmini series, but this design is just so utterly weirdly inefficient. Why an ATX PSU when there are so many good SFX PSUs out there? Makes no sense.

Those example pics... I don't think that CPU gets much airflow with the fan/heatsink combo (Put any decent CPU in there and you're gonna have heat issues), and I'm pretty sure you don't fit any RAM sticks in there with the liquid cooling hosing. This case/concept ignores entirely why the powerful CPU's typically don't go in these machines, because they get hot without good airflow.

This! ^ You're the only person I've seen talking about this that is giving constructive criticism! Everyone else for whatever reason is chiding ASRock, calling the case ugly, and saying nothing that contributes to proper feedback.

In the video they actually assemble it, with a liquid cooler, RAM ,and graphics card. It looks like it fits, but just barely.

The purpose of the Deskmini as the name suggest, should be focusing on small desktops. The original Deskmini is about the size of an ATX PSU. This one however, is nowhere here or there. It is not small, but not big enough for more powerful components. Given the increase in size, I feel I would have just gotten an ITX system which is more versatile.
