Campfire Audio makes a debut on TechPowerUp with its release of two relatively budget-friendly IEMs compared to what it usually puts out. Today, we take a look at the bold Honeydew that uses an individually 3D-printed acoustic chamber and custom dynamic driver for some very energetic and consistent tuning.

Seems like a really nice concept, but IMHO, the execution missed the mark by a pretty good margin....especially on those finnicky connectors, cables, & well, that scorchin PRICE...... plus no rechargable/wireless option too...

o.U.c.H....

I know, I know...handmade, 3D printed yada yada yada... but still a hard pass for me for now :D

You're not going to get wireless IEMs with this performance and driver size typically, there's a size and power limit.

I would really like it if you would look at the software side as well.
I got a pair of wireless pods and while they worked fine (for a while, now people are complaining about call quality), I was in for a nasty surprise when I tried to do a firmware update: Chinese mobile app, with very intrusive permissions requirements that also failed to... update the firmware. And that was the only way to do it :(

What software? These IEMs are plug and play, so not much to say. That said, I have two TWS earphones submitted with app support that I talk about in those respective reviews.

YEP, probably the only thing it would have updated is the included psywarz that logged everything you listened to, said or heard recently, hehehe... :(
