Kono Store hedges all its experiences working with keyboard and switch brands in designing its very first mechanical switch. Aptly named the Kono Midnight, this is a highly tactile speed switch with a translucent dark blue polycarbonate housing and a smooth, lubed POM stem.

A switch more expensive than Zealios?

EDIT: I take it back. Zealios is still more expensive it seems.

Wow, those are expensive. Too bad the Ink Blue still doesn't sound anywhere near as good as Kailh Box Jades/Navies.
Haha I just submitted an equivalent article yesterday using Kailh BOX switches, including the BOX Jade. It will be a while before that is published though, plenty ahead of it in the lineup. I suppose if you are a Patreon reader you can read the whole thing, let me put it up for access there.

I'm using Box Crystal Jades myself. I kinda feel bad I didn't go for Navies, cause I was afraid the higher actuation force would be too much but after using the Jades for a while, I can probably handle it and I would probably like the Navies even more.

Good read as usual but you do need a 5 pin hotswap keyboard to test out these switches. Keep up the good work. This is a new facet of computer that I am greatly enjoying...except for the long wait for group buys and GMK!
The new hotness of switches would be the Gazzew Boba series: thocky tactile, thocky linear, silent tactile, silent linear. I have them all and they are amazing.

This was an unplanned article tbh, the switches were provided as an extra on top of some pre-planned review samples and the group buy was ending soon so I rushed this over the course of a single day itself.

Let me reach out to Gazzew and see what can be done, I've been interested in his switches for a while as well.

If you're doing more switch dives, I'd like to read a future feature or features on the quietest switches at some point, ranging from the pricier brands such as ZealPC's Sakurio/Roselio to cheaper ones such as the Gateron Silent series. More for the "quietest out of the box before hand-lubing and o-ring customizations" types, as I know that to get truly quiet keyboards, one kind of has really lube, o-ring, and dampen the switches and keyboard itself.

Not a bad idea, but again contingent on the interest from the manufacturers. Let me hit them up and see.

By the way, those two holes you found are for switch mounted LED's, not SMD's

SMD compatible switches look like this:
