Hi all just a quick question to anyone that might have the Asrock B450 Steel Legend and has used it with the AMD Ryzen 2600x.

Before anyone asks i have no issues with the pc and this is more a question about bios updates.

I an interested in and would like to what bios version people managed to update to untill their 2600x stopped working :)
I have no plans to update bios inless i get a 3600x or 5600x but that will not be for a long time but i am still interested about bios updates.

Forgot to say i have looked at the bios files on Asrocks website but it does not really say what version i can goto before the 2600x might stop working.

Here you go, AsRock has a warning right here...

2600(X) is Pinnacle Ridge or Zen+

Then there is this, maybe @Final_Fighter can give an answer as well

Thank you @eidairaman1 I did look at that and have seen all the warnings hehe, was just interested if anyone managed to flash a bios higher than P3.40 and still have the 2600x working without issues.

All this AMD stuff is new to me so slowly learning it all :)

It might help, i see that some bios updates do not mention that you cannot rollback.

Shoot you could probably jump to 3.50 then 3.60 and revert back, otherwise the spi programmer approach @Final_Fighter is using

Thanks again will keep all this info bookmarked for futer use :)

I don't see a need to go past P3.40 based on what i have skimmed over and am happy with how the pc is working to.
Overlocked my ram to 3400mhz and the timings seem ok i think.
The CPU seems to boost upto 4250mhz on a few cores and around 4000 to 4150 on the rest.
