To be honest, such systems are selling realy really bad now. Also external radiators are a niche product in a niche world. This is also the reason why there are actually no successor products for such systems. Most of the ones mentioned are as old as the hills.

Eiszeit chiller is not really a product for normal end customers. We are selling them mainly to industrial customers, they dont care about the noise.

I still remember thinking about getting a chiller back when I was active on HWBot with benching everything aggressively :D

Those days are well behind now sadly, the market is not there like you said.

I would love to see a cube case that would support two of those things where you can have one on the bottom & the top or front & back where the air is pushed in & pulled out of the case. That would be nice for a dual system.

If you can find 1000 people who would buy it and pay for it in advance so that they don't back out afterwards, you can make it happen. Then it would be worthwhile for us to even think about it. But I'm relatively sure you won't even get half the people together.

Yeah, that would be a problem, lol. I would imagine having two of those fan boxes + 18 fans + radiator for one side adds quite a bit of weight.
It would be an interesting project to 3D model a rough draft just to see what it would look like.

lol no one knows 1000 people in real life, so asking strangers to commit to something like this is a waste of time and you know it :D

heh, its not a matter of knowing people, its all about advertising and convincing them that they would benefit from buying it. While I'm sure it would look cool and function well for airflow, I would have to agree I don't think such a thing would sell 1000 units, or even 250 units as something like this goes into more of an inefficient "novelty" item.
I might give it a try at some point. I'm just waiting on an A6000 and then rendering won't be as much of a problem. Lots of geometry/different textures in enclosed spaces takes forever to render in iray with a CPU compared to having a beefy card with plenty of CUDA cores & VRAM.

Really a niche product, probably for individuals that need to liquid cool 3 or more high end graphics cards that are constantly running at near 100% together. The only use I see is for individuals that are running a render farm or those that just want to go overboard with their cooling solution.

I just purchased one of these. Not a niche product at all, actually Alphacool just launched it so this will make it easier for more enthusiast to
have easy massive single radiator watercooling in the US, with just one single rad.. I have my case stuffed with (3) normal 28-30MM thick 360mm radiators, and they all suck lol. Using 2.75mm H2o static pressure fans at 2000RPM (best fans on the market for a radiator) and my (3) 360mm rads still perform mediocre.. I am able to cool about 600-700 watts effectively. My 3090 Kingpin Hydro Copper uses well over 550 watts easily. And my 7980XE idles are 300 watts on the desktop doing nothing lol.

This single Alphacool 1080MM is a beast! I’m removing every one of my 360’s. These big 1080mm/1260mm rads have an internal core that’s 45MM thick, and they’re are just extremely good at cooling. You can buy just one for $115 dollars each. And be good to go!

Overclocking for maximum performance is nice! And so is silence! That was these rads are for!
