EVGA Announces SuperNOVA 1000 GT Power Supply

EVGA have recently unveiled their SuperNOVA 1000 GT 80 Plus Gold certified power supply, joining the current EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GT, 750 GT, and 650 GT models. The power supply features a 135 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan optimized for reliability that is automatically disabled at low loads for silent operation. The SuperNOVA 1000 GT utilizes a compact design measuring 150 mm by 150 mm with a unique radial design fan grill and 100% Japanese capacitors. The fully modular design makes cable management a breeze and the single +12 V rail provides a stable output for maximum compatibility. The EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT is now available to purchase for 189.99 USD and comes with a 10-year warranty.

Despite that lower wattage models were realised more than one year ago, there are no reputable reviews for GT series. I think there are lot chances, that performance isn't very impressive.

Fact that EVGA don't send samples for reviewers mean that there is a reason why they do so.

Ant to be hornest, usualy HEC unitis are average. Not exploding crap as Gigabyte but just not the top tier stuff.

Man, the 750w models are down to $85 with IR at Newegg and $89 with Amazon.
GN put one of these through the ringer and it didn't blow up. Not a real thorough review on the EVGA, more of a "hey Gigabyte, this is how a power supply is supposed to not blow up"

Deciding if I want to snag one of these up being EVGA has good warranty support and 7 years pretty darn good still. Have a Rosewill Capstone 750M (Andyson made) that is still doing just fine with 2 years left on warranty however.

Also, with the lack of reviews on this unit, how did it manage to get on the LTT forums A tier?
