Rtx 2060 mobile undervolt

I have a helios 300 with rtx 2060 refresh limited to 90w. I have already undervolted the cpu and now I want to undervolt the gpu but don't know how to choose a frequency for lowering the voltage. Can I get a baseline where to begin? I have seen my gpu reach max boost of 1935 mhz but during games it generally stays from 1670 to 1770 mhz. Also is undervolt necessary? Generally my gpu stays around 70-75°C at maxed out fans. Please help.

undervolting your 2060 to around 1605mhz/775mV is probably doable
If you are already familiar with MSI Afterrbuner then just follow these steps

1. type 105 into the core clock windows and 200mhz into the memory clock and hit apply
2. go to the curve editor (look like the signal bar)
3. in the curve editor, hold Shift and drag from 775mV on the Voltage axis to the end (it will highlight the area)
4. select the point at 775mV (it will turn white), hold Shift + Enter, the curve will look like this

5. Drag the window voltage/freq windows away and hit apply on Afterburner main screen, save the profile
6. Set up hotkey in the profile setting to activate your profile when you are in game

You can play around with multiple undervolt profile like 650mV, 700mV that balance between performance/fan noise.

Is it possible to have a higher freq on a slightly higher voltage? As I think the gpu can push further and temps are alright too. How much max freq can I put for maybe 800-850 mv?

You can set the undervolt to 850mV using the same method (Shift + drag from 850mV, select the point then Shift + Enter).
Save multiple undervolt profile and play games to find your sweet spot

Not really, I haven't seen any benefit overclocking the memory on my 2070S MaxQ, just leave it at +200mhz is good enough.

In my opinion, it would never hurt, just be sure to not push it too far when the error corrections kicks in and hurts the performance.

I was excited to find this post as I am having some big problems with GPU overthrottling. I play on a laptop ( ) and have an RTX 2060. I have 2 fans providing air flow (one underneath and a table fan) no luck. I have been succesfull in undervolting my CPU (amazingly so) but have been completely unable to do so with my GPU. It either has very little power so FPS is drastically low, or my temps are too high and thus, thermal throttling with a lot of latency and stutter. I tried to follow your steps above, but I must have not done something right. All I want is to maintain a temp below 80 as 80 appears to be the point in which my laptop decides to reduce Mhz on the GPU.

With respect to the voltage curve editor, why did you pick 1605 Mhz? Is that a common speed for the 2060 RTX?

When I select the voltage and follow your tutorial, my GPU clock goes into the negatives! Is this normal or what am I doing wrong? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I have been dealing with this issue for the past 6 months and frankly, gaming has become completely unpalatable.

Dude you are a legend. I have an RTX 2060 mobile laptop and was searching high and low for a solution. My power and voltage limit were reached on a regular basis, when this happened I was unable to game because of insane lag. After I followed your tutorial everything is smooth. Thank you very much!!

I had the same issue. Check my Frequency curve I posted. I hope it fixes your problem too!!
