XPG, a fast-growing provider of systems, components, and peripherals for Gamers, Esports Pros, and Tech Enthusiasts, today announces the latest evolution of its XENIA 15 KC gaming notebook platform, following the success of a series of collaborations between XPG and Intel. The all-new XENIA 15 KC comes equipped with an 11th Gen Intel i7 H CPU, an NVIDIA RTX 30 series GPU, and XPG's own hand selected memory and SSD.

Designed in collaboration with Intel, the new XPG XENIA 15 KC takes full advantage of the latest 11th Gen Intel i7-11800H processor, NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics, and top of the line XPG memory and SSD, to deliver top of the line benchmarks, close to or even outpacing higher spec systems in gaming performance and pixel-perfect productivity. To strike a satisfying balance between fast-paced action and rich, detailed visuals, a spacious 15.6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) 165 Hz IPS panel delivers the best of both worlds, perfectly tailored for its performance envelope. What's more, it achieves 100% sRGB color coverage for accurate color reproduction for content creation.

To achieve "Xtreme" levels of performance, the XENIA 15 KC has improved its thermal design using liquid metal thermal interface material with outstanding heat transfer efficiency. This reduces core temperatures by 5° to 10°C. The overall thermal design is simpler, lighter, and more efficient than over-designed and heavier platforms.

Award-Winning Storage and Memory
This gaming notebook comes equipped with XPG's very own award-winning XPG GAMMIX S70 1 TB PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 solid-state drive (SSD). The SSD supports PCIe Gen4 over NVMe 1.4 and provides sustained peak read/write speeds of up to 7000/6000 MB per second. The XENIA 15 KC comes standard with an impressive 32 GB of XPG handpicked DDR4 3200Mhz memory.

Lightweight and Portable
Users will enjoy the XENIA 15 KC's lightweight (<1.94 kg / 4.2 lb) body thanks to its slim magnesium-alloy chassis which is only 20.5 mm thick. The material is also remarkably solid and durable while delivering an elegant design style. Despite its portable form, the XENIA 15 KC packs in a spacious, RGB-lit optical mechanical keyboard with an ultra-low latency of just 0.2 ms. Compared to the previous generation, this notebook has been improved across the board. For example, a DIY-friendly bottom cover with retention screw design has been implemented for easier access.

Connectivity, Security, and Extended Productivity
The XPG XENIA 15 KC is fully equipped with a diverse selection of I/O ports and a variety of compatibility options, including a Thunderbolt 4 port, multiple high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an SDXC SD card reader. For additional connectivity, an Intel Wi-Fi 6 module takes high-speed up a notch with higher data rates, peak Gigabit speeds, increased efficiency, and lower latency.

Additionally, the notebook sports a Windows Hello compatible IR camera that makes logging-in a breeze through facial recognition. This HD IR camera is also great for content creation, live streaming, and conference calls. With a large 94Whr battery, the XENIA 15 KC provides up to 7 hours of battery life for on-the-go productivity and gaming.

XPG XENIA 15 KC comes with a free one-month Xbox Game Pass trial subscription that offers users access to over 200 game titles.

If it ain't a 17 I ain't buying it. My eys are already a bit problematic, I have no need for a machine I'd need to stay closer to, to see what i'm doing.

It’s a nice 15” relatively light , but I’ve seen a review yesterday and it was thermal throttling at 89 degrees Celsius, being designed by intel I don’t understand why ? When intel itself sets 100 C as a safe operating temperature.. gpu temps were very nice to be fair , but the price was so expensive 2500$ for i7+ rtx 3070 :nutkick:

It is not designed by Intel, it is designed and made by TongFang (OEM manufacturer of laptops which are used by many resellers which rebrand it under their own name). You can see that in exterior design as well as in interior design, such as design of heatsinks and choice of fans. Intel just provides specifications to TongFang such as power limit or temp limit for CPU and GPU.

Intel designed the chip, not the laptop. The actual manufacturer of the laptop doesn't have to follow Intel's specifications about power limits etc obviously.

That is the price if you order 1000.

This model will sell for around 2500. The specs just not justify the price. This is more of a premium feel model like razor.

Yeah I am aware of their pricing, it’s a decent laptop actually but still expensive...

My reply was about another discussion though , namely, is intel designing these or not

Yep. But does not include memory or drives. So you get a nice package, customized. I'll get one in for review I think.

That’s great :) , if that happens please check if the cpu is throttling at 89 degrees C , that would be a dealbreaker, I truly thought this is the most complete laptop until I saw the issue on a YouTube channel , minute 10:00 for the thermal throttling :
