Mouse switches

I seem be wearing out my mouse micro switches every few years; any recommendations for replacement?

The ones that are failing seem to be Omron (Dell and Logitech mice); I opened up some good HP mice I have and they seem to be using Kailh switches.

My plan is to replace just the left switch as that seems to take by far the greatest number of clicks.

kailh, omron or huano is the same, well known and many use them
just take which one that you can find in the market

not, just from many mice that i have they use between kailh, omron or huano, so basically they are solid enough
just like keyboard, you can find cherry, gateron, and so on

That is sort of my point; my Omron switches are failing every 5 years or so.

Seems optical switches (versus mechanical) may be the way of the future.

i dunno which omron, in the market you can find japan omron and china omron, some said japan omron is better but more expensive than china omron
5 years is pretty enough for switch, especially when you are gaming much or clicks alot

True, but I can't afford a new mouse every 5 years and since a switch is $1-2, I can fix it

I have ordered 10 of them but intend to use only one per mouse.
