Corsair's upcoming AIO coolers have recently been teased by the company in addition to renders of the devices being leaked by VideoCardz. The new coolers will all feature a circular LCD panel that can display information such as the pump speed or CPU temperature. They will also feature native support for Intel's Alder Lake processors and the LGA1700 socket, with images showing the cooler mounted on an ASUS PRIME Z690 motherboard running Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory. The radiator comes in dual and triple fan configurations with ARGB lighting however we cannot tell if the included fans are an existing model or a new design. The pump features a single braided cable which presumably provides the USB and fan connections for the motherboard, Corsair is expected to announce further details on the new coolers next week.

Tbh all these screen on pump things don't look appealing for me. I just prefer a clean classic design. Fractal Celsius 1st gen is the perfect example of understated clean looking AIO. Also no extra cable spaghetti on the pump.

probably for the new block/pump, fans and maybe the inclusion of an OLED display instead of the traditional LED backlit LCD display that NZXT Krakens uses?

Yawn

Sorry for my only yawn post. Same old corsair stuff, same old RGB, just a new mount for the new socket.

It's nice of them to picture the features I don't care about. What I do care about as a previous Corsair owner, is whether anything has been done about the million cable mess that is so typical of Corsair AIOs (though I don't have high hopes).

Yeah their first gen was heaven sent shame they deviated from that.

Blame RGB, they moved to RGB design with the 2nd gen. Shame. Celsius 1st gen was my favorite AIO design all the time.

Everyone in here complaining about how they are next gen like it's some sort of gaming console. It's next gen because it's a refresh of their AIO lineup. Like really guys? Come on.

Too many people need to hop off that bandwagon for bitching just to bitch.

I quite like it and have been wanting corsair to come out with their version of the LCD pump that so many others already have. Ill be upgrading to this when I can afford the new platform.

bit much to call this "next generation" no?
No. It's next generation because it's literally been updated for the upcoming DDR5 platform. Supports Alder Lake out of the box, has an IPS LCD screen and potentially new fans to go along with it.

What would justify calling it "next gen" to you?
and the milking continues.
How so? I see this as a refresh to their line up that supports a new platform by default. Tell me how this is milking?

What part of it isnt? Supports a DDR5 platform by default, they upgraded the pump to include an LCD screen with potentially new fans. As I asked @ZoneDymo what would it take for someont to classify something like this as "next gen" to you?
Why is this not considered a low quality post? Why even post this if you have nothing to contribute?

People want 3 intake and 4 exhaust pipes and the pump shooting laser beams in every direction, I suppose. :kookoo:

I mean, how are new car models next gen? A bigger satnav screen, more flashy gauges, that's it. You can't invent the wheel two times (not that you need to anyway).

He was on par with that one. Single word posts are generally a no-no unless you are re-enforcing someone else's statement.

That said, I think he's right. The negativity in this thread is strong. Why? WTH has Corsair done to earn this level of disdain? It's not like microsoft with their pompous, needless and artificial requirements & limitations attempting to force upgrades on the public so they can have greater control they don't deserve with Windows 11.

All Corsair did was bring out a new model of their AIO water cooler and people are acting all butt-hurt about it.

Seriously people, expend your energy on something more constructive and productive..

i get where you are coming from lex, but not everyone will have a good opinion of stuff. I'm just not a fan of AIO, and neither of having everything doused in RGB either, otherwise there is nothing inherently wrong with AIO if you don't want or can't fit a custom loop.

While that's fair, there is no need to whine and complain unless there is a very real problem to be concerned about..

..for example. Why express this comment? Who are you trying to influence? Do you think you'll succeed?

1. Then what's the point of commenting anything at all? I'm not a fan of "gaming" peripherals, so I generally avoid such threads altogether.
2. Every coin has two sides. IMO, a properly configured RGB setup can look nice, though I admit that I'm not a fan of Corsair's proprietary method involving a million cables, either (speaking of experience as a previous owner). When I eventually decide to push my CPU a little further, I think I'll do it with a be quiet! Silent Loop 2. Not only am I in love with the Silent Wings 3 fans, but also, the Silent Loop 2 has a proper A-RGB connector, and not the software-controlled USB crap that seems to be increasingly common on AIOs nowadays.

Possibly, but that is beside the point. What im tired of seeing is everytime something newsworthy is posted (and it's not just here) is people just start jumping on the bandwagon about how this is bad, company X is dumb, etc etc for what? To complain just to complain? If something isnt a good fit for you, thats fine. That isnt the same case for everyone else. So comments like "yawn" or "and the milking continues" just make the poster look bad.

At the end of the day, a company is there to make money. They are not out to get permission to see if something that they are releasing is justifiable by you me, or bob's mom. If you were in their shoes, youd be doing the EXACT same thing to put that fat check in your bank account.

And this world is not full of people that like all the same stuff either. None of us can stop anyone posting their opinion, if the poster did not want comments then he would not post it. There is always going to be exactly the type of posts that rub you up the wrong way unfortunately. Just the same as they don't have to post crap posts, you don't have to complain about them, both are a waste of time, sorry.

Youre right. The difference is though, dont bother posting if it's not constructive or in any way beneficial to the content youre replying to. Youre just wasting your own time as well as mine by needing to read what you posted.

idk, actual evolution, which I know is basically undoable on watercooling at this point, but yeah calling it "next generation cooling" when its the same cooling we always had, same pump, same radiator, same fluid, same fins, nothing better, just compatible with newer processors......is just a bit off to me, but each their own I guess.....

Ah yes, CPU AIO that supports DDR5, definitely a "next gen". Reminds me of sales person in a local computer store that says "this laptop supports Nvidia VGA card and Mozilla Firefox, very recommended!"

True.. This is just new model, not next gen for me. It's just another AIO with gimmicks, increased price, and probably almost the same cooling capability as the existing one.

That's just marketing in this day and age. Everything new is "next gen" from cars to mobile phones, even though they've got the same four wheels, or the same boring all-front touchscreen. That's what "next gen" implies, I guess: the next generation of the same old thing.

To read any (not only PC-related) news article properly, you have to read between the lines, and filter out any information that's useful to you. Getting bogged down on word usage is pointless.
