So I'm well aware that gaming laptops are doomed to forever have inferior cooling. However with mine, which I just bought pre-owned, can't handle basic games without the GPU (rtx2060 model) hitting 90c and throttling my frames. This obviously seems less than normal.
I've fiddled with the fans, I've undervolted the CPU, undervolted/underclocked the card, messed with the power plan settings. The games run just fine, silky 60fps for about 5 minutes until the GPU hits 90c and boom, throttled and the frames go haywire.
I'm guessing the problem is internal, but before I send this thing back to cex to ask for a repair, anything else I should try?
