Intel Core i7-11700KF Review - Almost as Fast as the 11900K
The Intel Core i7-11700KF has the same 8-core/16-thread configuration as the much more expensive Core i9-11900K, which it can almost match out of the box, and beat with a little bit of tweaking. Thanks to its very reasonable price point of only $390, the 11700KF could also be a tempting...www.techpowerup.com
They don't use Linpack. Use blender.
They would hit 100C instantly at 1.4V on prime/ibt.
I would honestly just send that AIO back and get your money back, just use the Dark Rock pro and Dynamic OC it.
Just for reference IBT @ MAX will 95C my chip @ 1.28V under water with push pull fans 280MM @ 1600RPM -- and I have a 6 + 4 core that runs 50% cooler on top of that. I don't break 65C during daily usage, and barely touch 85C on extended cinebench runs. The only way IMO you could keep that thing from hitting 100C at 1.4 V is to run a chiller or ... just don't run it at full tilt past 250W...
