The Evolv X takes some of the advances of the Eclipse line and mixes them with the Evolv looks. To make it stand out further, Phanteks has improved several elements in the process, which makes for a fun, clean, and refreshingly beautiful final result in the Evolv X.

Black cables on white case? No white ssd brackers on case per 230$?! In addition, the case is already outdated. I would like to see a perforated bottom panel (for ROG THOR) and a dust filter at the bottom that can be removed from the front without moving the case. And after so many years, they couldn't even make a power button with LED ...

Phanteks disappointed a lot this year CES - not new ATX cases, not T30 140mm, not new PSUs, not even improvements to old cases.

What is it with this glass-side-panel-behind-motherboard nonsense? Nobody wants to see the back of the motherboard tray, this stupidity is just an excuse to increase the price for no good reason. An extra $100 on top of the original Evolv for a few minor tweaks? That's a ripoff that makes GPU prices look like good value.

Metal mobo backplate (looks cool) + SSD on brackets.

Lack of a reset button is annoying, as thats used to control a lot of modern ARGB controllers - i suppose that existing button on the back could be repurposed

When running dual PC, are you meant to share a PSU and the power button between them? It's an interesting concept, but some uses would be hampered if they have to be in sync

And yet again, just like the other 16,587.42 so-called "WHITE" cases released in the past 3-4 years, this one is only mostly white with black accents, which IMO, is false advertising.... hummm go figure :(

As for being outdated, that's the understatement of the year, since yes, this is essentially a rehash of their previous/existing models, which were also outdated in so many ways.

Had one in black, it's actually a pretty nice case. Agree on the glass backside panel though, pointless really.

As for outdated, 90% of cases now are boring boxes.

I remember when this case was first announced and I fell in love. After waiting over a year for it to release I ordered the case and it has been by far the best case I have ever owned. It isn't perfect but it is damn close. Working it is also a breeze. Lots of room!
Good to see some nice updates on the case. Personally, I think it is worth the 200 in spades.

Man, this gamur stuff goes through the roof. Segment can certainly do with a more competitive stance, its like a race who can price stuff the highest and with the biggest margins.

You ain't Apple, stop trying to be.

Price aside, the case is lovely nonetheless.

At the moment I have a black Evolv X, I love it, but there are flaws that the manufacturer need to fix. + the workmanship, in my opinion, does not match the price (in my case - 1 curved USB port on the front panel, a failed fan for 9 months, a dead backlight - control board, problems with painting, a scratch on metal and plastic elements inside the case, etc. ).
And sorry for my bad english.

My main problem was fitting a D5 pump in it, had to put it in the bottom, suppose i could have used a pump/res though instead of separate.

I have a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe for awhile now and it is a great case. I'm thinking about upgrading platforms this fall with one of the new AMD/Intel CPU releases this year and I may have to spring for a new case.

As someone who still uses the original Evolv on my main PC, I can say this case is a thing of beauty. The small improvements Phanteks have made to it in the X version only make it greater.

Hasn't it been available for quite a while though? Also, anyone tried fitting thicker AIOs like the T30 orr the Liquid Freezer II in it?
