what is the technical name for this connector. i cant find the actual name for the life of me.

Need the actual name so that i can buy it off from some supplier for some DIY use.

5V 3-pin DRGB (Digital RGB) or ARGB (Addressable RGB) name works. But look at pictures (and customer review screenshots) before ordering. Sometimes some vendors use proprietary 3 -pin connectors to save space (since the connector you're looking for is quite fat) or combine fan power connector and LED connector in a proprietary connector.

what i am getting with ARGB is just these sets from companies like cooler master, or other reputed brands.

what i need are DIY type ones which i can wire myself.

My board supports these normal ones so i dont think compatibility is an issue. i have 12v 4pin RGB headers as well, which would be my last resort haha.

this is the normal 12v 4pin rrgb one. it comes with header as well, so i can solder that to the strip and extend the lead.

i want something so that i can have a custom length. my case isnt really big. its only 3x120mm fan tall. and i have a non modular psu and 2 HDDs so i have run out of places to stuff the cables.
