Cooler Master today launches its newest flagship chassis HAF 700 EVO, introducing ground breaking levels of tool-less design within futuristic visual presentation. Fans of the renowned HAF series will rejoice in the revamped visual design and next gen hardware compatibility of the series' newest flagship. Created in 2008, Cooler Master's HAF (High Air Flow) series has made its mark in the history of PC DIY as one of the most beloved cases on the market to this day. Known for its generous intake, high compatibility and performance oriented design, the HAF series is making a comeback after a long hiatus, with a heart in its origins and an eye on the future.

Staying true to its roots, HAF 700 EVO has been carefully engineered for optimal airflow at stock configuration, allowing systems to run swift and smoothly without requiring additional cooling components. The renowned cooling design of first generation HAF models have been preserved and expanded upon to house up to eighteen 120 mm fans or up to 480 mm radiators, with multiple areas of installation. Its large interior allows for the installation of up to SSI-EEB size motherboards and the largest graphics cards available on the market, with ample clearance remaining for hard drives in an assortment of configurations.

In comparison to first generation HAF cases, HAF 700 EVO places greater focus on improving overall user experience so users can truly appreciate and fully immerse themselves in the joy of PC DIY. Intake Blades crafted from tempered glass offers next gen aesthetics while ensuring efficient cooling. Each HAF 700 EVO comes with a built in LCD assistant called Iris, which offers real-time system monitoring as well as a futuristic profile, so users can tailor and tweak their build to match their systems' needs.

Breaking Limits: Evolving Case Standards

Birthed in the age of PC DIY where varying levels of tool-less design have become commonplace, HAF 700 EVO rises above the rest by redefining what it means to be a truly tool-less chassis. Upgraded with several patent pending designs, HAF 700 EVO allows multi-function brackets, PSU and even the GPU to be installed completely with one's bare hands alone, empowering effortless installation and an upgraded user experience. Externally, tempered glass Intake Blades and the Iris LCD centerpiece offer visual stimulation, and an opportunity for enthusiasts to explore self-expression. With the Gen2 ARGB technology utilized, each individual LED can be independently controlled, and Iris can be set to display system statistics or completely customized with personal photos or videos.

Moving back in the right direction, but I'd like to see glass side panels that also have a vent and mount for a side intake fan. I realize that adds much production complexity, but they are seriously charging an arm and a leg.

Also, where is the successor to the HAF XB already?

Just checked out the review of it by kitguru. Looks cool other than the useless iris display on the front of the case. If it were on the door and was a small rectangle, i could dig it but having it on the front is foolish. As is, it looks like a fugly case badge from yesteryear that kills the aesthetics. It has some nice features for wcing. The 140mm rad mounts are a refreshing change along with the other rad mounts. Like just about everything right now the price is just laughable.

Case alone weighs 20 kilos. At that point it needs caster wheels. And according to TechTesters review, the front LCD doesn't retain settings until Windows boots up and Cooler Master's RGB software is on. Not to mention the paint finish is not that premium looking. Looks as garish as HAF X from all those years ago. So there's that at least.

Can't find an affordable GPU? Spend €698 on a case! You still win!

I still can't wrap my head around needing a flashy case with RGBs or fans with RGBs or GPUs with.....well, you get the idea. I, personally, don't stare at my case when I'm using the computer. My focus is on the monitor, but maybe I'm doing it wrong and I have been doing it wrong all these years?

Dang. 20 kilos! That's heavier than the CM Cosmos 1000 I used to own, the Cosmos 1000 comes in at just under 17 kilos and it sucked moving that case, even when empty.

For tastes, the colors...
It is a heavy monstrosity.
But of course, what am I going to say that I mount an ITX in H200 :p
There is always a rip for a broken stitching , so someone won't mind spending the money on this one.

So you can either install the fans or the radiators but not both? or does that read as up to 18 480 mm radiators? :kookoo:

multiple areas mean only 2 places, top or bottom? o_O

€698 as posted in Poland equals USD$800. Perhaps a slight matter of 2022 inflation? Curious about once more in-depth reviews on the enclosure develop. Off the cuff: "The case for me looks a little bombastic and unrefined especially from the front!" I have on the other hand always been a 'distant admirer' of the more conservative and sophisticated $900 Phantec Enthoo Elite. But cannot wonder if the HAF 700 sports the same no-holds-barred glory of the Enthoo Elite with its thick luxurious and custom engineered all aluminum fixings like it's fantastic door hinge mechanisms? And all the other extras including the special shipping case Phantec provides. There is also still the remaining question if super-sized and heavy PC enclosures like this are still wanted. Bottom-line: For me my initial impression is that the HAF 700 is not even remotely close to the Enthoo Elite in quality and what Cooler Master should have offered with any of their cases in excess of $600-$800!

Hmm, I still have 2 HAF cases. One is the special AMD edition that I house one of my crunchers in.

Not sure about this new design though........And price?????

Weight is pretty heavy, but a case this size a person usually don't move around much. Isn't like people are going to haul this to LAN parties. :p

Back in my LP days we used to drag CRT monitors on our backs, along with a backpack full of beer.
Nowadays gamers aren't even strong enough to lift a G5 with half-filled weight cartridge :D

This case is fucking ridiculous :D

It's huge, super expensive, has some cool features but still fails on basic stuff like using 200mm fans with half the blades covered by the 120/140mm mounts. They should have focused on the basics instead of all the bling, not that it matters I guess, with that amount of space and number of fans it will perform well either way

At the price CM is asking for this monstrosity, it should come with one, I think :D

Tom's has a review up of this thing, and at one point the review mentions the weight. 53 pounds.....EMPTY. :fear: :twitch::eek: Needless to say, unless you're Arnold Schwarzenegger from "Pumping Iron", you're sure as hell not putting this thing on your desk. More like slapping some caster wheels on it and wheeling it around your room, lol.

Also, free hernia with purchase :D:roll:
