Antec Announces the DF800 FLUX Case

Antec Inc., a leading provider of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself market, presents the latest mid tower of their award-winning Gaming Series: the DF800 FLUX. The chassis features new visual effects with a geometrical front panel design which mirrors light effects through its special surface design. The full-view tempered glass side panel lets the user show off the build, while the interior of the chassis allows for thought-out ventilation thanks to huge air intakes as well as plenty of space for watercooling and case fans. The case is now commercially available from 93€ (suggested retail price including VAT).

The new DF800 FLUX measures 479 x 220 x 488 mm (DxWxH) and is compatible with ATX, micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. In terms of fan support, the case accommodates three 120 mm / three 140 mm in the front, three 120 mm fans / two 140 mm fans on top as well as one 120 mm fan in the rear and two fans on the PSU shroud. The DF800 FLUX features a number of pre-installed fans: three 120 mm ARGB fans in the front, one 120 mm reverse fan on the PSU shroud and one 120 mm fan in the rear of the case.



For extra water-cooling, the DF800 FLUX can accommodate a 360 mm radiator in the front and on top and a 120 mm radiator in the rear. The case boasts three convertible tool-less 3.5" HDD drive cages (convertible to 2x 2,5" SSDs), three 2.5" SSD mounting spaces as well as seven expansion slots. The DF800 has plenty of space for graphics cards with a length of up to 405 mm and effective ventilation, making it particularly suitable for gamers as well. The DF800 FLUX supports high-end air coolers with a maximum CPU Cooler Height of 175 mm and power supplies with a length of 205 mm.

The I / O panel features Power and reset buttons, two USB 3.0 and Mic/Audio jacks. Included dust plugs cater for damage prevention. With 34,5 mm in the front and 26,5 mm clearance in the rear, the case offers sufficient space for cable management, allowing for a clean build and optimized air flow.

Exactly,…

You can tell that the photos with the front are computer generated and the others are of a real physical case. Someone designed a new front bezel for an existing case,…..(slow clap).

and by the looks of it the new front design probably has poorer airflow,….(even slower clap).

For those in markets where Antec is still pretty dominant, they would know what Antec is about these days.
Its mostly about 40-70$ budget cases with LEDs, mostly similar frames, slight changes. NX series cases seem to come out every other month.

I dislike the direction Dark Fleet has gone to
I dislike not having new, powerful and innovative Performance series cases

I hope that one day, when Antec decides to go back to NA they will rethink their business model.

The front is worse than DF700 FLux, with the mesh partially ruined by that bezel. Non a great idea.

"most" I think Fractal Designs did a good job with the torrent, which is why i finally decided to get one a 13+ years ha. With some brackets you can get it holing 8 drives as long as there 2.5" ones.

Although they could of come up with a better name for it.

I think the Cooler Master HAF 700 Evo looks to up the ante. The price is horrible.

Yeah, the Fractal Designs Torrent (full sized with the new fan controller) is on my short list. I don’t necessarily need a case at the moment but the Torrent really looks like a great bit of kit. It has some flaws to be sure but no case is perfect.

Silverstone and Lian-Li are still doing some neat things IMO, maybe In-Win if you’re into that

Maybe so but summers here soon and my old case while it could cool well it was a dust hell, this things cooling as well with filters. And yeah Corsair has one but not a real Corsair fan but they do have one case i did like just that this seemed to perform well, kinda wish they added 140x38 fans too like the 180mm ones to the Torrent though..

And FD did do the right thing about the fan hub so that was another plus, gotta support those who do right.

Yeah I’m a big fan of 180’s. Wish GN could get their hands on an Alta F1. Hope they do, and compare the fans, too.
