my $29.99 roccat mouse is doing great btw! forget the model name.

shame you never reviewed the naga x, its my fav all time mouse still. i cant play rpg games without it

Anyway, the performance of the M4W is so impressive I have to say.

Xtrfy is on the top end of my favorite mice now, using the M42 for a while now and the experience mimics what I read here. Everything just works, and does so virtually flawlessly. Low frills high usability mice.

99 is steep though for going wireless... even if the execution is good imho that's beyond what a mouse should cost. Let's face it, they dó die after some years. If that's 3 years you're still looking at 2,75 eur per month just for your mouse.

yeah thats it! burst core. and when OP reviewed it had no negatives other than stiff cable, but I like stiff cables.

so basically I got a mouse for $70 cheaper than this one with no negatives. lol

And not wireless, and with notably worse performance in areas like CPI deviation, (click) latency, sensor accuracy, lift off distance, feature set... Jitter... Still don't get me wrong, that Roccat is a nice find especially at the price. Xtrfy is simply in another segment.

Its also missing the replacable humps, and I will say, they make a difference on the M42, shape is the big differentiator, and that is where each Xtrfy mouse is focusing on. Shapes that don't exist quite yet as unique selling point, and ticking all boxes around it.

Maybe you oughta read more than just the pro/con list

Its clear there is a marked difference with the sensor and latency. Underlying point being, most mice perform 'okay' and the Roccat is in that category. Not in the 'flawless' category.

I don't even have time to read all the books I enjoy, its ok for $30 I still made a good deal. I rely on the pro cons list of reviews on TPU for lot of mu buys

Been using Xtrfy M4 Wireless since launch, and I'm not disappointed. Depends on gaming sessions, I charge the mouse every 2 -4 days. Before I switched over til M4 Wireless, I have been using M4 and M42. But overall my hands fits M4 better, and get less tired when gaming.

I would have liked that Xtrfy adden some texture to the sides, All Xtrfy mouses can be slippery, since it's gloss finish. It't not a problem adding this your self. I took the extra time punching out speed holes in the Lizzard skin grip. Time concuming, but remove a few more mg that has been added with the skin.

Overall it's a great mouse.
