Consumers report that Xbox Live is being pushed to the limits, presumably due to the high number of gamers playing Halo 3 online. Various Xbox Live users have experienced inaccurate game stats, performance slowdown, inability to access friend lists, and an inability to perform system updates. After experiencing trouble on Tuesday night, one gamer reputedly called Microsoft's help line in which a representative responded by saying that Xbox Live was experiencing network difficulties. The issue appears to be intermittent, however, as several gamers reported no problems outside of inaccurate stat data such as number of players online. Hundreds of thousands of Halo 3 owners have flocked to Xbox Live in an effort to play online since the game launched on Tuesday.

No it's not. Microsoft will do something soon to fix it. It's not really a big deal once they find out, and they will fix it soon.

Thats what the $50 a year covers silly:laugh::laugh::laugh:

It pays for Microsoft to continuously update their servers and place even more around the world (and in the US and Europe of course)

This makes me glad that my $50 a year are being spent for my benefit it may not show at the moment but it will be fixed sooner than Sony (excuse me third parties....cough...cough) would have fixed it since the eir online is free and the money might not be there for the extra server space.

Yet, Sony isnt experiencing these problems and I doubt with any game with alot of online players, they ever will. I know alot of folks played Halo/Halo2 but to get online ASAP and have to figure the stuff out, is kind of retarded.
