How do I find the correct bios as it has been scratched off the chips.

what cards are these does anyone know?Thank you and everyone that replied to my request for your help and comments, I am an OAP and when I was around 30 the Commodore 64 was around so I did not grow up with this sort of tech, Now give me a motorbike and I will fix it for you. I was looking on Ebay for a second hand GPU and this one came up, I did not realise that they were selling a new one or I would have been suspicious , when I received it I complained and they sent me another one and when I complained more strongly I got a full refund. I have since bought a second hand Gigabyte 1060 and it works great for my budget. I am now building a new computer and thought that if I could use one of these fake cards ( repaired ) that it would be useful to someone who need a computer who have a small budget, any other help in actually doing the job would be helpful, I am looking at videos online as well ,BTW I have. bought a bios flashing tool. Thanks again all.

@Dr. Dro,
if Afox is going to manufacture counterfeit cards why don't they try making something worthwhile like a Titan Xp (xP?) or a Titan V? Why go through all the effort of manufacturing garbage?

The thing on the PCB that straight away screams "I'M NOT A 1060" is the SLI bridge connector.

Do your due diligence research before buying cheap cards on impulse from China, people! Educate yourself! This scam has been going strong for years and years because buyers can't recognize very basic discrepancies.

Looks like it's some kind of GTS 450 from 2011.......so, completely worthless today in 2022.

@Dr. Dro,

I would guess it's because since it's a low value product, it's less likely to attract unwanted attention or for customers to be wildly upset. Just a few examples to show you, here (TPU), here (TPU) and here (Tom's), many customers just end up taking the L because they do output some image and the price makes it not worth it going through all the hoops to get a refund or return the merchandise.

Not all of their GPUs seem to be completely bust, they actually offer RTX 30 series cards (which seem to be simply repackaged from other Chinese OEMs but with their brand sticker), although, their low and midrange stuff seems to have practically zero quality or sourcing control. For example, they sell an RTX 3090 that seems to be identical to the ones sold by Manli and OCPC, you'll find them in the TPU GPU DB. If you want to dig a bit further into their past shenanigans, use YouTube's automatic translation tool and watch this:

The overwhelming amount of issues I hear every day about this brand though just spooks me... they should really look at their QC and perhaps look into being licensed by NVIDIA as a proper AIB partner, then i'm more than willing to give them another chance. End of the day, my stance is that it's fine to sell recycled cards, it's just not fine to pass these on as new, licensed products sold at full prices on the mainstream market, IMHO. And if they're not responsible for the counterfeits that are being sold with their brand's name, they need to counter it with a genuine product validation program, so a customer can register the serial number or something.
