I wonder if the issues can be mitigated with better implementation. The problem with FSR 2.0 if I did not recall wrongly is that it requires a lot more effort to implement than FSR 1.0.

Supposedly in games that already have DLSS 2.xx it should be easy according to AMD becuase the engine already has the motion vectors. I think we should expect slightly worse performance/image quality especially at resolutions below 4k though as this works on any gpu a decent trade off imo.

I noticed immage quality to better on my RX 6800 compared to my RTX A2000.
Maybe is just 6GB of Vram on the A2000, but I belive is worth testing with an RDNA2 card as well also considering AMD claimed FSR2.0 work best with RX 6000 cards

With my 1080Ti ,and 5950X , 3800cl14 tuned RAM, at 4K MAX / FSR 2.0 Q , runs well , 45 min fps!

• FPS?
• Temperature?
• Fan RPM?
• GPU utilisation?
• Miles per hour?
• Giraffes eaten per day?

In other news I just started playing this. Is it good? I'm doing the tedious intro/tutorial/hand-holding part and stopped to make breakfast after the boring first boss that you basically just have to throw an axe at 40 times. So far not impressed given all the hype but at least I've decided that it's a KB+M game because they ported that well enough for it to be objectively better than a controller for a change.

FSR2.0 on taxes my 1080Ti hard , never seen 325 watts from my 1080Ti ,302 watts was the most , BF5 was was it .
P.S have GPU V on auto .

My GPU runs at 1198, 29.6 and 78 but I'm not going to give you the units or tell you what they're measurements of, I'm just going to circle the numbers on a mystery graph with no axis labels.

2.4.3 is magic in this title, even performance mode for 1440p looks astoundingly good.
