220w Lovelace could perform better than a 3080 given the much better 5/4n nodes they are using. Especially when undervolting a higher end card (250w 3080 performs better than a 250w 3060 ti or 3070). I doubt many people will go for high end cards giving how fast the current high end is. We really are reaching a point that gpu's become so fast you don't even need a high end card to play at 4k with decent settings, upscaling helps that a lot as well.
