Alphacool Unveils Enterprise Solution C5 Parallel Distro Plate

Alphacool's new Enterprise Solution C5 Parallel Distro Plate greatly simplifies the design and construction of complex water cooling in tight server enclosures, making it the ideal solution for efficient tube management.

The ES C5 Distro Plate features 22 ports in G1/4" format. Due to the high number of connections, this results in a wide range of configuration options. Alphacool recommends here the use of the in-house ES quick release coupling sets made of nylon. With the help of these quick-release couplings, CPU and GPU coolers as well as radiators can be integrated into the water circuit or removed again in no time.



The included feet and mounting frames allow flexible installation in the server case. Depending on the available space, the Distro Plate can be mounted at any 120 or 140 mm fan position or flexibly placed in the server case using the feet. The easiest and fastest variant is the mounting via the included self-adhesive Velcro. Various threaded holes on the sides and on the back of the ES C5 Parallel Distro Plate offer further direct mounting options.

Its fine for PC, I expect Enterprise usage would demand function over appearance, which means durability. There will be that 1% that uses the wrong fluid and doesnt react well with acetate, a very expensive mistake when it comes to servers.

In the server area, great care is always taken to ensure which liquids are used. Liquids that react badly to acetal are not used there at all. They should generally not be used in any water cooling system. We also use nylon connectors in servers because they are lighter and better than brass connectors. Due to the tight design in some systems, short circuits can occur otherwise. Expansion tanks and other components are also made of acetal in server products. There have never been any problems and there never will be. Customers in this field are much more picky and precise with everything than end customers who often do and also unfortunately publicly recommend things that are complete nonsense.
I don't know how often we have customers with damage due to forum recommendations. But a large part of the RMA could be avoided if you just do not listen to what many recommend in forums, especially with regard to liquids. Fortunately, such problems do not exist at all in the enterprise sector.

There is a lot of work with 3D models and pictures up to videos. This works very well and problems are usually solved very quickly. In addition, everything is tested and checked in advance by the companies and they create their own protocols that the people then have to follow. But mistakes are human. Something can always happen. But that someone has used liquids that have attacked acetal.... I have not experienced in the 8 years that I am in the company.
