I quite like the layout with the 1.25u keys on the right of the space bar. The version with BT, 2.4 GHz and hot swap switches may replace my Ducky One 2 SF as my primary gaming keyboard should it come out in the form of an ISO.de version.

I don't think keyboard cases are often made of PBT since ABS is known to be rigid, tough and impact-resistant. Due to its lower melting-point ABS also is cheaper and more eco-friendly. Since you rarely touch the keyboard case with your fingers, one can certainly live with the fact that ABS is less durable than PBT.

Pretty sure he's referring to the keycaps, not the case itself. Thick ABS keycaps are quite popular these days too, certainly a major improvement over the thin mainstream stock keycaps on cheaper boards.

Less durable, less rigid, can get shiny pretty fast (bleh), imo worse typing feel, and it's an overall noticeably cheaper solution.

Basically:

Got a few boards here (Ducky x Varmilo Miya Pro Sakura, Ducky One 2 Horizon, Razer Huntsman TE, Corsair K70 RGB Pro Mini Wireless, Tesoro Gram Spectrum TKL, Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard and the original Microsoft Natural Keyboard from the '90s), mainly with PBT caps, and I'm never gonna buy anything with ABS again. I know it's not a unicorn, but seeing ABS on a Varmilo board is quite disappointing tbh. : (

So? One exception doesn't make the whole thing less true. They are still less rigid and will get shiny over time btw, and good luck buying them for that ridiculous price. Also, does this Varmilo board has them? Geez...
