I bought an PNY SDD some years ago ( in 2015 i think) back when I was in the US from BestBuy and is still running great. (not sure if PNY products for EU are different in quality than those for US)

The products for EU are not different quality, but at times they have some other versions of the products that are only for US or EU.

Also I know for a fact that the US and EU have different management and strategies also different pricing.

I dont know , some electronics I bought from the US were better than same electronics in EU but at the same time some other electronics in US were worse than in EU and as you said they were different versions of the same product with one or more different parts inside.

True this can happen.

If you don't mind share the product details, links, I can check for you the EU versions.

Like as from early this year there are two versions of the PNY XLR8 CS3030 this can now be easily found in US. Then for EU they have PNY XLR8 CM3031.

I am in EU now.
As an example that SSD i bought from the US (for cheap) is amazing , after all this years is 90% life and works like new but on the other side i bought from here, in the EU, an surveillance camera kit and one intercom from PNY and they were pretty bad (not top of the line thow) , the intercom broke after 6 months and the surveillance cameras have really bad quality and bit buggy.
