Well, although I can't seem to find the model right now, Dawid got an 8k TV for 1500 Canadian Rupees (as he likes to call it), so about $1150. While not exactly peanuts, it's completely in the realm of higher end monitors (cheaper than many) and not unreasonable at all if you're really gung-ho about 8k. Of course the hardware able to drive all those pixels at respectable framerates is another matter, but next gen gpus might already be able to do 60-ish fps in many titles with optimized settings of course.A long while on the ram. At 8K/16K perhaps, but we're not there yet I mean 8K exists if you're Bill Gates still pushing for 640K resolution because it's all you need for memories really high definition ones.
Because there are many overzealous ... fans of the red team that think it still makes them look cool.Sure this is a thread about AMD, not Intel. Why is it turning into a shit on Intel thread?
Sure this is a thread about AMD, not Intel. Why is it turning into a shit on Intel thread?
Because AMD and intel are related - they are competitors in one market and intensely influence each other, and depend on the other's good and bad practices.
The Sun doesn't rotate around AMD only.

Here we go with the Intel imployee... you think i don't notice your comments. You shill for Intel so much it's not even funny. Since you must know, the shenanigans that Intel paid ppl/companies like Dell to not use AMD. If you don't know, now ya know. But it's the same price bracket and that's all that matters.
Intel shenanigans?!? You mean the ones that caused AyyyMD to bring out the Faildozer trainwreck? And to keep hold of it for 6 years?

I think it is because this is an AMD thread and there is always you there saying how great Intel is and how AMD sucks pulling the same old comparisons and skewed results which give massive space for whatever interpretation you'd comfortable with.Because there are many overzealous ... fans of the red team that think it still makes them look cool.
I wasn't in this thread at all at the moment he wrote why is it turning into an Intel bashing one. Meanwhile in Intel threads we have rabid fanboys spewing absolute garbage without any backing like this:I think it is because this is an AMD thread and there is always you there saying how great Intel is and how AMD sucks pulling the same old comparisons and skewed results which give massive space for whatever interpretation you'd comfortable with.
Maybe if you have focused on Intel's threads for Intel's topics suggestions and AMD's threads for AMD's topics and suggestion it would have not brought to attention your attitude towards Intel products people recognize and are kinda tired of.

Not at all, I even said in my post "paving the way for Intel to begin resting on their laurels put the industry on its ass". Calling it shenanigans is a bit off though, they were simply capitalizing on AMD's weak, hot, and all-around awful Heavy Machinery architectures (FX). They let Intel pump out a nearly infinite army of quad-core CPUs that still annihilated anything AMD had to offer. I should know, back in the day I had a A10-5800K and that thing got absolutely backhanded by my friend's i5-2500k in... everything? Are we forgetting the Intel shenanigans that caused that stagnation?

How can call it amd being weak... intels money paid to keep amd from making money when amd had the better product. Call a spade a spade. The fx was a monster that dominated Intel and the latter paid companies not to sell products of the former. That would have a massive effect on a companies ability to make money in order to further develope better architectures. Not at all, I even said in my post "paving the way for Intel to begin resting on their laurels put the industry on its ass". Calling it shenanigans is a bit off though, they were simply capitalizing on AMD's weak, hot, and all-around awful Heavy Machinery architectures (FX). EDIT: I should mention that the Intel Partner Program is absolutely monopolistic BS though. But still, if AMD had something decent to offer back then the impact would have been lessened by a large margin. For example, look at 7th gen Core vs 8th gen Core, AMD released Zen between that time and Intel finally had to get off the couch and actually respond to AMDs cheap, efficient, and pretty damn good Zen cores by finally adding more cores to their CPUs. Now that AMD is firing on all cylinders again (Zen4 hype train lets goooooooo) we see Intel having to do some real innovation again in order to keep up.
