Since pretty much ever? Dynamic drivers also have magnets moving the diaphragm/voice coil back and forth, and these are planar magnetic drivers which take it a step further.

I wonder how much microphonics that cable picks up. I've got a few Litz braid cables and always replaced them because the cable would conduct vibrations anytime it tapped or rubbed up against something.

I didn't feel anything here, the individual braids are further away from each other to minimize microphonics from being carried over the length of the cable.

Makes no sense? Packaging is a big thing in the audio world cause plenty of people sell stuff off to others after the fact. Most people like a good "box".

That's a nice touch. You'd be surprised how many headphones don't pay attention enough to the cable.
