This looks like a really nice update to a great case - I'm still very, very happy with mine. It's just too bad the company has shown itself to be really shady, screwing the original designer (@wahaha360 over on the smallformfactor.net forums) out of most of his agreed-upon payment from case sales. There's an ongoing lawsuit, though it remains to be seen what the outcome of that will be. This also had a part in the somewhat early discontinuation of the Ncase M1 - which was coming anyway due to part compatibility concerns, but was accelerated as Ncase could no longer trust their business partnership with Lian Li to be secure in light of the lawsuit (SSUPD is run by a family member of the founder of Lian Li; Wahaha360 runs the business part of Ncase). In short: SSUPD definitely won't be seeing any more of my business, nor will I recommend their cases to anyone. Which is a damn shame, as the Meshlicious - and now the Meshroom - are great cases.

Kind of cheating since it's open frame, but the XPROTO ATX is also tiny for ATX

Powah button on the back = an instant NO BUY 4 me and a MASSIVE f/A/i/L IMHO....

Other than that, it does look nice, but I'm leary of why they seemed to think that the extra 1/4" on that front I/O was not a viable option....

Edit: Maybe it's just too dark and lighter colors would look better, this green just makes think of mold

Actually I do, 3 of them in fact, and if you are implying that they could/would be able to push the powah button, I have not eva seen that happen in the 32+ years of owning both cats & 'puters of all kinds, shapes, & sizes....

I was wondering if the ATX PSU would fit with the MATX mobo (no luck for ATX),
or that 20+mm on thickness will be the hurdle?

I love my EVGA G6 PSU but also bracing the extra option with the MATX mobo

Read bits of that in reddit and it's kind of sad, I usually don't follow ITX cases but I really like my Meshlicious.

This green reminds me of the TT Tower 100 I had. More color options are always welcomed to me.

Lian Li/ssupd had a falling-out with W360, the firm who designed and named the original Meshlicious for them, and I believe Lian Li even being sued by them. W360 has retained the rights to the name Meshlicious and are now planning on releasing their own Meshlicious 2 with a different manufacturer (Streacom).

Yeah, I like the colors, definitely unique in a good way. And the case is great. Just a shame that the company are massive a**holes.

Looks cool and different.

Why are Lack of LEDs and Power button in rear a negative? You'll know when the system is on plus no annoying blinking and/or too bright led. As this isn't a huge case the power button location isn't a problem.

In my case I am not just implying, my cats have done that several times unfortunately while I was gaming. So if one has cats like mine, one can appreciate the button. Either way, I doesn't feel like a big deal to me, though I agree that it seems like an odd decision.

Rack mount? That is a... strange direction to go from "high performance SFF case". Also rather fundamentally incompatible with the core concept of this design - mesh panelling all around. I guess the mesh could be used to front a rack mount case, but there isn't much else that's transferable. It'd definitely be interesting to see them diversify more though - but I kind of doubt they'll be going full size. SFF is extremely trendy and lucrative in China right now (and elsewhere too, just not to the same degree), so most likely they're looking to keep capitalizing on that.

There is a reason these types of more open airflow cases have started to become more popular in recent years as case temps have gotten harder to deal with all the excess heat of components that's spiraled more out of control.

But that's exactly what I'm saying: "this type of case" isn't a transferable idea to either ATX tower or rackmount form factors. "This type of case" is a fully mesh enclosed sandwich layout SFF case. Fully mesh doesn't make sense for either of the other two size classes, as servers have four sides essentially blocked off (sides for rails, top and bottom flush with other rackmount gear), and a fully mesh ATX tower would render its front fans essentially useless through pressure loss out the sides, resulting in worse overall airflow than a mesh front + closed off sides. Sandwich layouts don't make sense in full size cases, and risers are already widespread in servers.

Also, there are tons and tons and tons and tons of mesh-fronted ATX cases out there. The "glass everywhere" trend of the late 2010s, while not dead, has been mostly replaced with a "glass sides + mesh front" trend in the past couple of years. There are plenty of cases with similar micromesh fronts out there already.

Rackmount cases are also heavily optimized for airlfow already, and (the ones that don't have hot-swap storage bays in the front) have tons of room for airflow. And just like ATX towers, those cases are also dependent on an enclosed wind tunnel to ensure airflow throughout the case, with just the front and the back open. Adding mesh panelling would harm thermals unless you're able to put fans behind that mesh - which wouldn't make sense.

So, either what you're asking for already exists, or it just doesn't make sense conceptually.

Whenever I'm skimming text that includes "ssupd", my brain invariably parses it first as "stupid". That's not to knock the case; it looks really well designed. And it gets bonus points for being available in green!
