If this was ATX, it would be perfect for the "retro gaming builds". Some older motherboards are hard to get ATX and 12V power cables to when the PSU is in the bottom, sometimes making for ugly cable routing.

Sure, it's a very tiny niche, but I'm glad this case exists right now.

Probably due cost savings. Though for the manufacturer, I'm sure that they wouldn't cost crap..

Hey look, it's 2013 calling wanting their cases back!

Good. I posted on this exact topic yesterday and some of those 2013 era cases were one of the most common sense and coolest running cases I've owned. Some also came with 4x front USB ports as the norm. 9 years of "evolution" later and for cases like the Fractal Pop Air, even a 3rd front USB port is "Premium Case DLC", removing reset buttons isn't "evolution / modern design" just plain dumbing down, and front USB-C is still as regularly non standard in 2022 as it was in 2013 despite the standard being finalised back in August 2014...

Backups to optical media
5.25" reservoir
playing DVD/blu ray media
External HDD reader (for those of us that do tech work on their main machine)
Fan controller
Media card reader

Not everyone jumped on eliminating all physical media/buying 18 dongles and addons to plug in when you have to do actual work.

You forgot to add "Ability to add 1-2x front USB-C ports / upgrade to USB 4.0 via a bay converter unlike the drive-bay-less, front-USB-C-less cases that will remain permanently crippled for life...

Ah! I thought that it was about the grommets on the holes on the mainboard tray where you route cables, my bad.

Silverstone included rubber 2.5" drive grommets for my PS15 (another micro-ATX case) I bought a couple of years ago. You can download the manual from their website and see them on the parts list.
