I’m a spatula guy. Grizzly Kyronaught comes with it so I might as well use it. It does waste some paste that ends up on the spatula but it’s my preference.

nope, still prefer small dabs than wasting TIM on your finger
even a small package will be good for at least 10 applications, and given it takes years before it needs replacing, not sure why your worried about losing as much as 1 out of 10 applications because of stuff staying on a glove.
just lol.

completely ignoring that in the case of an empty syringe, i tend to buy a new one.

This is not always true. Noctua's NT-H1 for example, dries out and becomes less effective after a few months. For system that are 65W TDP or less, this isn't really a problem. Anything above 65W TDP can be serious problem as the TDP wattage goes up. There are a few TIMs that are like that.

You don't? How does your home stay cool in the summer then?
this seriously sounds like one of those ridiculously silly, yet somehow entertaining LTT videos, like where they setup a water cooling loop that goes through the whole house.....ya know someone is writing up the script right now I bet

@lexluthermiester
sure, but thats not supposed to be, and i would consider it a defect, especially when i see how Noctua is being considered by some to be the "holy grail"
for cooling stuff.
glad i never wasted money on their stuff past a round 14cm fan (case had no space), as so far (past 20y), i spend about a third of the cost (of Noctua products)
on Arctic with almost identical perf (e.g. fans) while having longer waranty (10y), and that incl the MX 5 (guess i got lucky).

@skizzo
have thought about it (friends as well), not to run it thru the house, but put the rad outside (winter), or in another room,
to prevent heating up the room the pc is in (not always climate controlled), and/or removing fan/airflow noise.
