Need help with tuning - don't play games on this one. When I benchmark, the speed goes down! Not expecting too much. Win 11 22H2.

The 8700T is a low power CPU. Intel gave this CPU a 35W TDP rating and your screenshot shows that your CPU is power limit throttling right at 35W. It is running exactly as Intel intended.

If you want to try and go beyond this limit, post a screenshot of the Turbo Power Limits TPL window so I can see what settings are available to you. Also post a FIVR screenshot.

In the TPL window, clear the Disable Controls check box. Set both PL1 and PL2 to 90W. Check the MMIO Lock box while you are in there. Set Power Limit 4 to a value of 0 to disable this type of throttling. Press OK and run another TS Bench test to see if you still get power limit throttling.

Dell has Locked out the FIVR window which is not too surprising.

Most people do not run their CPUs fully loaded benchmarking all day. Intel CPUs can run reliably and safely up to 100°C. That is why they set the default thermal throttling temperature to that value. I would not worry too much unless you start reaching those temperatures during normal use.

I would clear the BD PROCHOT box on the main screen of ThrottleStop. Your CPU will still slow down to protect itself whether BD PROCHOT is checked or not. BD PROCHOT throttling can be very excessive and is rarely if ever necessary. Leave this checked if you do not feel comfortable disabling this type of throttling.
