Nice you went down this path.

Of note for this sort of thing and the lack of filters. Do not use the microfibers and rely on them to clean. There are hearing aid cleaners that use suction (think like you use for soldering) that you use to suck the wax and stuff out. This is what you want. It's also important because even many non customer higher end IEMs are going to need this as they don't use filters.
