More performance for GeForce RTX 4090! With the Eisblock Aurora coolers, Alphacool presents two new, innovative solutions for active water cooling of NVIDIA's Founders Edition as well as MSI Suprim graphics cards.

In order to dissipate the enormous waste heat of this graphics card generation as effectively as possible, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous models. The fin structure has been adapted and allows a very effective water flow while simultaneously increasing the cooling surface. The modified jet plate with improved inflow engine ensures optimum distribution of the water on the cooling fins. The fully chrome-plated copper base is resistant to acids, scratches and damage. Additionally, the chrome plating provides homogeneity and shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating.

The Aurora design of the GeForce RTX 40XX Eisblock Generation is visually quieter and sleeker because only one O-ring runs around the entire cooler. Also, the design around the cooling fins and jetplate makes for a cleaner look. The illumination from the 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs is even better distributed throughout the cooler thanks to the chrome plating.

The Eisblock Aurora water coolers for NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition and MSI Suprim GPU's are available for pre-order now from the Alphacool Online Shop.

100€ less than EK fullcovers... Good job Alphacool.

The only thing I'm worried are the acrylic connectors - I don't feel comfortable screwing the fittings into such delicate material.

@Dammeron
Well... we have a good marge, so no need to have crazy prices. Why should we go all out to pull money out of our customers' pockets? As long as we can still earn good money to pay our bills and have money left over for new projects.... and we are happy with this year. We are not affected by all the massive sales declines of other companies. We are broadly positioned. So we are doing well and we are happy.

If the connectors bother you or you feel uncomfortable with them, then wait for our new graphics card cooler series . It will cost a bit more, but the terminal will be one piece with the cooler. Cooler and terminal are one piece with brass top for the connectors. Then a tank can drive over it without anything happening.
But we don't have any problems with the connectors on the Aurora series. We use extremely thick material here. Google if you find any problems with our coolers on the terminal. I'd be surprised if you find anything. At least we haven't had an RMA case specifically on this for a very very long time here.

Basically You're going back to the roots when fullcovers were monolithic. :)

The only reason fitting terminals were detachable was so You could swap them for a bridge when doing SLI. However SLI is no more so I'd like the good old design back. :)

From the base yes, there we go on something like that. However, the new cooler will have no resemblance to this old block. Also, the whole thing will be much more sophisticated. The cooler should also look very good in the end.
And it is true that SLI and Crossfire are dead and no longer play a role. You can also connect the coolers differently and better than through other terminals or special adapters. These solutions are no longer up to date and the demand is 0. The customers solve it differently in the meantime.

You’d be surprised how much money you save when you’re not throwing thousands and thousands of dollars at “influencers” like EK does. alphacool is able to sell their products are a better price because they aren’t spending insane amounts of money on marketing.

I paid about $120 for my alphacool 3090 strix block back in 2020. Even came with a backplate. The EK 3090 block was $200, and the regular back plate was another $45. Paid half the price of EK.
