Nice bit of kit.

Personally I was looking into the EcoFlow Delta Pro and Bluetti AC500 + B300S. Leaning more towards the Bluetti AC500 + B300S which is about ~$4,500 USD (that’s a sale price). IIRC the Bluetti AC500 + B300S will support up to six of the B300S battery packs for something close to about an ~18Kw system.

It has its issues though so I’m a bit on the fence.

It is nice however that is WAY too much money for what you are getting. Those within the solar Diy enthusiast, myself included, thinks this is built for people who not really know what they are getting. Yes it does the job. It does it well within its parameters. The quality is good as well but the price IMHO are meh at best.

If you people are really serous about the solar thang.... This is the man who started it all. He is very knowledgeable and I use him as reference material.

Lithium Solar is another site that I highly recommend

Again the product is nice. The quality is very good, BUT the price is what I would gives a thumbs down.

If you can buy last years model @ $150 dollars than that is an excellent buy.

POWER LEVELING. Been messing with the solar concept since 1974. It is only the last 5 years that solar is a viable alternative as a SUPPLMENTAL source of power to your home/utilities.

I watched a fair number of his videos mostly on DYI Solar + Inverter + Battery reviews. While I really enjoyed his Bluetti AC500 + B300S and EcoFlow Delta Pro reviews I would have preferred if he included the respective Smart Panels. So while you don’t get a 240v leg with either stand alone, when combined with an identical unit and the respective Smart Panels you do indeed get that 240v support.

Last year's model uses Li-ion, this one has the benefit of longer lasting LiFePO4 batteries. That's basically the price increase but yeah obviously you can't compare a DIY solution's value to a retail unit. If you are invested in this then it makes sense to learn how to do it properly yourself.

it would be hard to beat the all in one portable neatness with a do it yourself solution.. i have 20 x 150 watt panels and 10 x 100 amp lithium batteries on my garden sheds so i do know how it all works.. but if i wanted something just to chuck in the back of the car and go.. a ready built one would be hard to beat..

Sure but even a DIY configuration is going to cost when using the new hotness AKA LiFePO4 batteries.

Unless maybe we are talking about literally building your own battery pack BMS, wiring and all but even then the savings aren't likely significant.
