My guess is still too much for VRM's - that's why I made the LowPower2 BIOS (more limited), please, test if, if you would, without the use of afterburner.
Hi, I tried this without afterburner and still no signal in world of Warcraft after about 5 minutes.

Would it be possible to lower the voltage and under volt it? I tried in afterburner but I’m not getting the option to do so. It would eliminate the possibility of PSU being the issue?

Look at the sensors on GPU-Z. check the voltages from the PCI-E and 8 pin connectors before and during the bench. Though you already tried a different PSU, and underclocking and undervolting would lower the current draw anyway. It won't be PSU.

@Laezur I have balanced power and frequency from LP2 to LP3 and checked all the voltages and they are quite low as it is, ASUS version has higher voltages for lower clocks. This extreme LP3 version should work otherwise I'm afraid the card is just damaged from such high power usage for its VRM throughout the years... :-(
Please, try it without afterburner.

Hi mate,

It lasted so long in WoW that the game auto-logged me out (I logged in and went into another room for a bit to watch football). When I came back, and logged back in it black screened again though.

I have no idea if it's a good sign that it lasted longer, probably not. I'm willing to just call it dead at this point.

Flash was succesfull, but I get these "fails" are they normal?

Wow! I'm glad it works at least for some time so you can play a good long while!

Yes, those fails are normal; it informs you that signature check failed but they completes successfully because it ignores the result from signatures checking.

Tell me if you want an even more aggressive power saving BIOS, we just might persuade it to not black-screen again. :)

Well I'm just going to do it, and here it will be posted, the (extreme) LP4. :D

EDIT: @Laezur: as low as it can go! The 150W GTX 980 Ti!! Even the BIOS signature says it's as low "AF" Really - it came out to be "AF". Enjoy! :D

Signal disappearing is usually the gpu disconnection issue, artifacts is memory corruption depends on which memory bank is faulty as mats or mods test will tell you that. If the graphic card was getting too hot for long period of time the gpu die is degraded same go for the vrm degrading as dowmclocking won't fix it same goes for bios modding. Memory corruption can be fixed easily by a repair center that does reballing if they have the exact memory in stock. There's way too much confusion here leading to no where
