CORSAIR today announced pre-order availability of the eagerly anticipated XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED Gaming Monitor, the world's first 45" 21:9 bendable OLED gaming monitor. Since it's unveiling in August 2022, the XENEON FLEX 45 has inspired PC Enthusiast and Gamer imaginations with its extraordinary combination of W-OLED technology, 21:9 aspect ratio, 45 in size, 240hz, and amazing ability to bend from fully flat to up to 800R curvature.

Now the wait for the next leap forward in monitor technology is almost over, with pre-orders for XENEON FLEX 45 now open on the CORSAIR webstore, at the compelling price of $1999.99 (Exc. Tax). With orders shipping late December 2022, gamers can prepare to get their hands on CORSAIR XENEON 45 in and set their own curve.

Created in partnership with OLED innovator LG Display, the XENEON FLEX 45 is the culmination of CORSAIR's engineering expertise and cutting edge W-OLED Technology, to create a whole new class of monitor. With a 45 in 3440x1440 (21:9 aspect ratio) display, XENEON FLEX 45 delivers a cinematic display experience that's as well suited for work, as it is for play, with stunning image quality courtesy of peak brightness up to 1000nit, and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio.

The XENEON FLEX 45 sets new standards for high-frame rate, low response time gaming monitors. Motion blur is all-but eliminated with up to a 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms GtG response time, and a near-instantaneous 0.01 ms Pixel on/off time, all but eliminating motion blur and ensuring your games look their absolute best - all fully compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium.

Backed by a comprehensive three-year warranty, that includes both a zero dead-pixel and zero burn-in guarantee, the XENEON FLEX 45 also ensures that it will look its best for years to come.

Availability
The XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED Gaming Monitor is available to pre-order now at the CORSAIR webstore for $1999.99 (Exc. Tax), with units expected to begin shipping in late December 2022.

International pricing may vary depending on country and may include regionally applicable taxes. The CORSAIR webstore currently ships to USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark and other EU countries, please check our webstore for more information.

I wounder if the manual says how many times you can bend it.

EDIT, good thing is that it has a 3 year warranty at least and on top of that it supposed to be G Sync and Freesync compatible.

And whatever you do, do not fold. Or mail it via the post office which will try the same.

nah, but I would have liked 3840x1600, like current 38" widescreens.

is that the same ppi as 32" 4k? main reason I want 32" 4k is because I want there to be a noticeable improvement of PPI from 27" 1440p (also why I decided not to get LG C2 42") still too big, PPI is same as my 1440p. no real gains.

nope, it's lower, but i find fonts too small on my 34" wqhd. Enlarge that to 45" would be the other extreme.

that's why you use windows scaler for fonts, but in game that won't matter, in-game is all that matters to me so I want the ppi of 32" 4k

If they can make a niche 21:9 bendable display just like that, there is no excuse for there not to be a 16:9-16:10 simple 24-32" OLED monitor for the regular consumers with a bit deper pockets..

I'd really fancy the LG one untill the price was anounced. R800 would be perfect for my corner-setup, mig enough to cover my fov but not too big. Even with the useless-odd resolution it yould've worked... But not for net 1700-2000$... That's 2160-2540€s for me... Hell no... :kookoo:

This one is cut from the same glass panels as the the Evo panels in the new LG C2 (and late C1) lineup, $999:

This one is the same panel, but not bendable, $1,699:

What is Corsair doing? This is a showpiece for rich people. It isn't even a real monitor. $2000 LMAO. $1000 and then we'll talk.

This would have been the best monitor on the market if the resolution would have been something like 3840x1600p, or better, 5184x2160p.
But I guess on a 5K you cannot have 240Hz refresh rate yet...

And good luck sending it in the mail, the box that mine came is the sterofoam was badly damaged and maybe Corsair would have a box sent to you unlike LG will keep telling you that you can get one from FedEx\UPS took months of the BS and just ended up ordering a broken monitor and fixing it my self.

Fedex looked for weeks for one, and LG did say they would pay for the box but finding one, well good luck with that.

Damaged packaging and seeing how many 43UN700's are on ebay with broken screens, yeah not happening. Although it does mean i can typicaly get the part unless screen pretty dam cheap ha.

So 1st make sure you have some were to keep that large box and second make sure the shipping box is in good conditions as places like FedEx will take pictures, just in case it fails.

So not just committing to a big ol Monitor all so a even bigger box too HAHA!.

LG has this for those that want 4K.
This would be great if they start cutting motherglass panel in 34-38 inch size.

My current 34 inch occupies 2/3 of working desk. 38 inch is max I could deal with. Plus, 42 inch display has lower ppi.
