RGB has no real effect on functionality.

The lights typically have issues when there is a conflict of software.
If you are not runing software and your lights still went out, I would contact the manufacturer for RMA.

Generally the lights will go off because the software has them disabled or some lighting profile doesn't use them.. Unlink them and see what happens when you manual change the color for the dram only.

RGB lights can be turned on and off by software. should always work without installing software. If you close it with software, sometimes it does not light up at startup, this is normal, same with me. If the software is corrupt, reinstall it and try again.
If you have just installed the system, the lights should come on when you first start it up, if not, you can go to the RMA.

Well thats your answer. RAM RGB works. it goes off when you run the software because whatever profile is not using the DRAM. play around with mythic lighting. Can't cause harm.
