What I said in the title, attached image. At idle every 1 minute timed there are spikes in the gpu clocks. I have tried: Update Drivers, Reinstall Drivers, No viruses (multiple tests found 0 viruses), I have no programs like MSI Afterburner or any other running. The only difference is that before it didn't do it to when it does is that I updated the BIOS from F3 to F62 (Gigabyte).

Is there a problem with this what the gpu is doing? It didn't do it before and I don't know if it can be dangerous.

Thank you all for help.

Thanks for replying, I have tested it and when the gpu clocks go up, the gpu usage is the same (0.43% ~ 0.46% usage).

I really don't know whats happening. o_O
I am out of ideas.

Close ALL internet browsers (preferably with disconnecting internet/network card), and check if it's still doing it.

I think the issue is AMD software. Install driver only & see if that fixes it. You do not need to de-install, just run the same driver version & select driver only from the option menu.

Let that be a lesson to all.

No matter how many cores you have, any software you can remove from task manger will make your computer run faster. This is why I have always run driver only & use an external program such as Afterburner to change card settings. AMD software can sometimes introduce stuttering, it depends on the interaction between driver & the rest of the software running in the background.

Overall your computer is better off with driver only install.

EDIT: Can't speak for user's with Nvidia cards as I have never own one of they cards, but it will be interesting for a user(s) to try driver only & post result.

EDIT2: OP fault was most likely the software checking for updates. Turning off automatic check for update may have fixed the original issue.

Yeah I turn off any autoupdate bs as it puts a load on the network, that stuff lives to be in the task scheduler even

I turn off autoupdate on most of my programs. The only ones that are active are windows update & antivirus. Some programs are deactivated at startup. These are programs that are built into windows or part of a program that's needed to run games. With a simple tick box they can be reactivated.

Example Below: Windows 7 Last two program are disabled. ...Windows 10 list is different

I leave Windows update completely disabled (I might even gut it from windows) and am considering using powershell to install only updates I need (Vetting them)

AMD Adrenalin Software: 23.7.2

The same issue happened to my RX 580 and was fixed by uninstalling Adrenalin Software. I guess AMD doesn't care about their GPU customers anymore.
