With the Suprim X, MSI offers an impressive RTX 4070 Ti custom design. Thanks to its huge quad-slot cooler, and an excellent fan profile, the card runs virtually inaudible, even under full load. Overclockers can manually increase the power limit up to 365 W, more than on any other RTX 4070 Ti.

In the "Retail boards based on this design" MSI Suprim X boost to 2775MHz in review here in description on the first page 2760MHz(?), then in table with "Clock States" I see boost in games to 2880MHz and all of this is not manual OC. LoL?
Which number is an official boost value?

The boost rating on my card 2670. Nvidia designed it to be a m conservative rating, not the max. It is expected that the actual clocks always exceed the boost rating. Not sure about 2775, what does it say on the msi page?

In TPU, GPU database, RTX 4070 ti, when scroll down in "Retail boards based on this design". In one of the rows is this card, for it's boost frequency is written "2775" Maybe after official presentation and reviews of different models of an different trademarks some numbers needs of update.

I really don't want to be an asshole to Nvidia, but this is horribly priced. My 6800 XT oc'd is literally only like 10 fps behind the 4070 ti in several of these charts at 1440p... and it cost me $540 a couple months ago... I guess I will leave my system the way it is after all. /shrug

So the MSI website lists 2775, yet my sample ran at 2670. It often happens that clocks change shortly before the release process, I'll reach out to MSI to clarify

In the "circuit board analysis" page you say that the chip is based on 4 nm, shouldn't it be 5nm? it is called 4N but it is a 5nm tech for what I know.

"The Suprim X brand of graphics cards from MSI arose from a need within the company to match NVIDIA Founders Edition in aesthetics"

While the cooler in use its not something special ..... RTX 4070 it was another one opportunity for MSI to demonstrate their own skills at cooler design.
And they did nothing to take advantage of it.

The 6950xt is actually selling for $790, not 850 as the article stated, and I just checked and right now the 4070ti MSI card is selling for $869! As expected the partner cards are more expensive than the reference cards, which the 4070ti does not have! The 6950xt is actually on par with the 4070ti exempt in raytracing, and with a $79 difference in price most certainly does not mean the 6950xt is obsolete!

The 7900xt is faster than the 4070ti when it comes to 4K where the 4070ti kind of Hobbles with only 12GB of ram. There is a $30 difference in price putting them really close, but with the 7900xt outperforming the 4070ti with 20GB of ram, I cannot see going for the 4070ti over the 7900xt! The 4070ti has actually made the 7900xt look better, especially with the 7900xtx currently selling for the cheapest $1,295 instead of the $1,000 MSRP.

As everyone is basically saying though, all these GPU's are over priced, which is why everyone is overanalyzing....

I noted this too when reading this review. I was nearly convinced into purchasing a 7900XT. However, I do use ray tracing & DLSS on my current card (EVGA RTX 2080 ti XC Ultra Gaming) when playing games like Forza Horizon 5 for that little extra realism and efficient performance. So in my use case, the Suprim X makes more sense.

I'm very glad I waited and managed to snag this card lightly used for 650 USD.
