Can i put a Micro ATX board in a ATX case?As i was looking on ebay for a full sized mother board at less than £30 i see so few of them.I am trying to work out where the stand offs would go for a Micro board.
And can i try a PSU on a motherboard with just connecting the PSU to it?
Yes should work just fine. Pre existing holes will do the job for the screws to hold down the micro ATX board.

Thanks. :)I was just looking at the differences between the motherboard I got
and the H61 can use extra 1600 memory, but i see that is just for Ivy Bridge CPU,s.
I thought mine was a better one because it can take 32 Gb as opposed to the 16 Gb on the H61.:) I did not know this 1 × PCIe 2.0 ×16(Some H61 Motherboards Support PCIe 3.0),I feel a bit better after seeing that. :) And some h61 boards have USB 3 o_OI should have checked all this before i got the one i got.o_OMind you price wise with the upgraded CPU,s cost to much ,i don,t want to pay much for a CPU
the i5 2500k at £8 is enough for me.:)

Comes with intel i5 2400 + 4GB Ram

i/o shield included?

No, it is not mini ATX. It is micro ATX (a.k.a. uATX or mATX).

It will fit in a case that can accommodate ATX and micro ATX motherboards.

Consult the owner's manual for your case for additional guidance.
I did check it and you are right there. But i saw someone saying it was a mini one somewhere else.It is a very good manual better than the Intel one i bought. If it came with the shield i would go for that one and send the other one back.I don,t want it if the i.o shield is not included with it.You can fit Ivy bridge Cpu,s on it.

It is foolish to believe random comments from random people on the Internet without careful scrutiny and thoughtful analysis.

As is so typical in these PC hardware discussions, referring to the manufacturer's specifications and/or documentation is far more trustworthy than blindly believing some random thing you "read on the Internet" or worse heard as a verbal claim from some vlogger.

It's up to you if you want to purchase this without the I/O shield. It's an old used item so it's not particularly surprising that it is not intact.

Your money, your call.

I get your point there. :) I do usually check out weather the info is correct on ebay but i did not notice untel68olds told me that the wrong picture had been put up on there.Plus the fact just under the main description he said no I.O Shield included ,but at the bottom of the page he said it did.o_OI hot in touch with the guy and he said this *Yes everything is as pictured with I/o shield and yes a mini tax can fit into a full size case*but when i got in touch with him i did not relise the picture he put on there was of the wrong modal as 68olds did not tell me tell after i have sent the seller the message.I have just checked the manual for the one he sis selling and must say it is a good manual better than the Intel one.If it is as the seller says it does come with the shield i will go for it.I got back to him to confirm that it does come with it.

The microATX spec is specially designed for backward compatibility with ATX. The mount points for it are a subset using on full-size ATX boards and have identical I / O panels. Thus, MicroATX motherboards can use in full-sized ATX cases.

Tom Baker from 1974 to 1981 in my opinion the greatest Doctor Who of all time. Though he would have stayed on as Doctor Who for longer, but had a disagreement with the direction or director or producer at that time.
