Anyone spot any RTX 4080 12GB that made it into the wild before being recalled and unlaunched?

just like the EVGA 4090, i'd imagine an originally branded RTX 4080 12GB would be a collector's item

Good God, lol. This is partly why dualGPU isn't a thing anymore mostly. Also
>Titan CEO edition
Lol'd at the name but man, that thing was a Pascal and doing better than a 3070, pretty impressive.

That doesn't really compare, that 480 would be sucking down about 500 watts by itself. Two would just be retarded.
I mean, there's possibility to SLI 3090 or 3090ti, so...
but point taken

Nvidia Tesla RTX T10, unreleased by Nvidia although apparently used for a brief period on GeForce Now servers.
Strange die markings, so presumably ES/QS.
Another odd thing is the ARM MCU located in the centre of one of the display output footprints.

Oh I think this is the first I've seen of a GRID RTX T10/Tesla T10 in the wild. There was a "leak" of one years ago but it was just a QS for the Quadro, slightly different but mostly the same. This is a clear photo of the memory arrangement for once, showing that they are in fact NOT 384-bit populated! Makes sense given that they come in 2/4/8/16GB configured instances (maybe they are ALL 16GB and just split at the software level?) if you can plug that bad boy in as a secondary card and dump the VBIOS and get a GPU-Z validation from it for the database, that would be awesome.

I'll definitely dump the VBIOS and have a look at what GPU-Z says about it!
Also, regarding the memory, if you can't quite see the markings on the photo the chips are Samsung K4Z80325BC-HC14.

Update; I've done the GPU-Z validation and uploaded the VBIOS . One oddity is that I thought this was an 8GB card, however GPU-Z reports it as 16GB.

Oh very nice! Neat, #662541 was from the same lot as mine (#662233); lot N9G585.2J. I'm still trying to map out how many cards per batch ATi made for the 2900 XTX, and how far the "serial" numbers go. There's no definite number of how many 2900 XTXs were made from each revision, but so far it seems like we have the best picture of the A12 silicon variants which still had samples being built until around March 2007.

What I find interesting is that the 01/15/07 (#663709) card still has the grey cooler shroud and black fan despite being a later sample from a later lot. @Darthgrey's cards are both 12/14/06 dated cards from the exact same lot as the 12/11/06 cards and yet those are equipped with the expected red shroud and fans. All of these are A12 silicon equipped cards and all run the 810/999(1009) 1.15v clocks.

Also please please please upload the VBIOS from both. Just select 2900 XT as the card but then put in the model info box that it's a "2900 XTX A12". TPU will flag it as unverified but it'll still be visible on the database.

And finally the screenshot shows that one of your cards is running a little toasty. Might be just the 13.9 driver causing that, but it also may need a clean and repaste. These cards should ideally be staying around 50-55C at 44% fan due to the massive cooler. I'd also switch to an earlier driver if you're noticing any games/tests not launching or working properly. The one verified driver we know works with these cards is Catalyst 7.6, which you can run on XP/Vista/7* (*Win7 may require you to unpack the driver and then point device manager to it to install.) I'm trying to remember if 9.1/9.2 worked but I don't have screenshots of that so probably didn't run it.

Engineering Sample 2070

"MEGA RARE" Yeah, hardly. The rare one is the "GTX" 2080. I've personally confirmed with more than one engineer at nVidia that the TU106 "GeForce GTX" cards were sampled out in much higher quantities. Meanwhile fewer than 100 of the TU104 cards exist, and fewer still are not intentionally locked from functioning.

How often is this list updated? Maybe it's in the comments somewhere but I feel like the quite rare and unusual Gigabyte Super Overclock GTX 680/HD 7970 with the 5x fan design should be on here.

Also if I remember correctly, these 2 models were the only ones with this design right? :)

The 680 SOC is not so rare. The 7970 SOC very much is. Not sure the list in the first post has been actively updated in a few years.

I don't know if these cards are super rare or not.. at least here in Germany it is very difficult to find these. I'm very proud of this collection:
IMG20230118230541.jpg

The ROG Lineup, i love it :D
- GTX 770 Poseidon Platinum
- GTX 760 Striker Platinum
- GTX 780 Ti Matrix Platinum

And I am very very very lucky with the next one:
IMG20230118230551.jpg

An EVGA GTX 1080 Ti KingPin (K|NGP|N) Edition. This thing is just insane, so heavy and so beautiful. It overclocks pretty good, too.

Anyone seen a Gigabyte 6600 GT 3D1 with this style cooler? The card in the database has a dual fan cooler, and mine is labeled GV-3D1-LX. Otherwise looks the same as the database entry. Had it forever, as I recall I bought it from an online retailer going out of business and didnt get the motherboard that it was bundled with as retail.

edit
should have scrolled further its already in there! Anyway, heres another lol

It's 6600-non-GT Dual, has the same GPU, the same memory, but lower clocks and less price. Dual fan cooler was a free factory upgrade option for this card, GT was with dual cooler by default (I have both, but 6600-non-GT was upgraded to dual fan by previous owner).

I have abit of news on getting this beaut of a graphic card Asus Matrix gtx 980 ti 6gb platinum as I just paid €105 and it on the way to me sometime next week possible monday or tuesday at the least
As the previous owner told me it has some sort of artifact issue (possible overheating issue or dust bunnies causing havoc on the pcb) but looking at the actual card using the pictures he showed me and I some how spotted the white warranty sticker hasn't broken and it looks decent but with dust build up in the backplate. I will upload pictures of it when I get a chance. If my hunch is right it would need a deep clean and new thermal pad and thermal paste should fix the problem as it a one owner graphic card. This might be the possibility of owning a cheap but rare card as there's not many for sale only spotted one for $450 on ebay and another one on aliexpress for a whopping €1900. I don't know how many were made or how rare is it. But if the graphic card don't work I would use it as display model on my computer desk just to drool over the attention of details.
Have anyone ever own one of these graphic card before?

Matrix cards are always cool. I have a 7970 Matrix and a R9 290X Matrix Platinum myself. Here's an older pic :)

edit: paid 30EUR from the 7970 and 10EUR (you read that right) from the 290X. Both work like new.
