So you go to the yard to manage BBQ. I login safe mode to your laptop to change the accessibility options exe file into cmd. Then I restart and choose accessibility options on login screen, cmd will open instead, then I remove your password. If bitlocker likes you, he won't allow me. If you don't have Microsoft account and bitlocker is off, I like you.

Sticking to Windows 10 then, not gonna pay to get a basic feature that's been there since Windows XP.

Guess the UI designers at Microsoft never do work on their PC and just care about looks.

Don't know why we can't rearrange tabs in explorer.
How many Microsoft engineers it takes until we can drag a tab to its left?

Took the plunge and don't know why I took so long. I actually prefer the outlay of it more than 10. Just tried it in my game ghost recon breakpoint and went through smoothly.

I've seen old articles talking about how windows 11 "will" do it, before 11 launched but havent heard or seen anything about it since then, first hand

I've had some windows updates bork my PIN and needed to use password, which worked fine offline and online - It'd be damned hard to forget both.
Some people don't bother reading whats in front of them and try typing the PIN at the password screen and vice versa, seen that in person a few times

Edit: got it from the MS website, it's not activating here because i create with local accounts first

And then because I dont run a giant C: partition with everything on it, even if it did ever cause issues i'd be fine with my other partitions/drives unencrypted

If you use rufus or ventoy and remove the secureboot requirement, this also doesnt happen

I want to see how notepad with tabs look like. They said u can drag tabs out into its own window.

Theres a few things that line up there

Some are dev channels only
Some are blocked on hardware with known issues
some updates dont install if you have TPM/secureboot off (like a rufus install gets security and driver updates, but not major OS ones unless you have them enabled in the BIOS, even if the requirements removed by rufus)

These are excellent examples of conditions causing bitlocker not being enabled by default. However, there are many conditions where it will be enabled by default. The conditions are complicated and numerous for both cases.

You're secure as long as you are not going anywhere that qualifies as "ishouldntbehere.com". A point release is not going to magically cure your security ills.

Sometimes the PC just has to be online for a while before they appear - i saw something about that but forgot the specifics (to stop a PC that was just turned on from being hammered with a major update, when the user wanted to do a 5 minute task)

could be a time limit too, major update was done 3 days ago, 7 day minimum - some of these things are mysterious mysteries. You could always make an updated iso and upgrade that way with uupdump
