Being the refresh of 2019's Basilisk Ultimate, the Basilisk V3 Pro has been updated across the board: Razer's latest Focus Pro 30K sensor, 3rd-generation optical main button switches, a highly adjustable scroll wheel, up to 90 hours of battery life, and compatibility with Razer's 4000 Hz HyperPolling Wireless Dongle and MouseDock Pro.

This is the mouse I gave up on in favor of the steelseries optical switch mouse.

AFtrer reading this I suspect I got the 2019 revision (bought in June this year) but not sure how to tell.

The problem I had with it was random disconnects and could not charge it from the wall outlet without getting disconnected.

Another negative that wasnt noticed (AFAIK) is that the side of the cable you plug into the mouse is odd, you cant use a normal USB C cable with it. You'll notcie the end has a bevel and guide rails on it. But you can use the cable on other devices as long as the plug is flush with the outer shell of the device.

Is the wireless-charger-puk with standard QI coil-pads compatible, and is it separate available?
All in all: accurate but expensive

I've got the standard V3. Using it right now, actually. I love it. And while the V3 Pro is truly impressive, I...just can't stomach the price tag. And then to have to buy the dock separately, for another $60...ouchie. The "older" Basilisk Ultimate is definitely the better buy, especially now that it's frequently on sale. I've been considering picking one up because it has, for me at least, two HUGE pros over the V3 - the side paddle is removable and the scrolling is able to be more finely tuned via the little wheel on the bottom; these are both features I absolutely loved about my V2; when I wasn't gaming on it, I'd just take the paddle off and pop the side cover on, which made it more comfy for browsing. I do love the free scrolling on the V3 though - makes scrolling through pages a breeze!

Also @pzogel , you kind of piqued my interest when you described who the V3 Pro is for:

It is a large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which makes it more suitable for medium to large hands.

I'm a 5'3" woman with 16.5cm length hands, which are considered "small", and yet I can reach all the buttons on the mouse just fine. So now you've got me over here wondering if I'm a freak or nature or something

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but you can indeed buy the wireless charging puck separately (without the dock). It will work with any Qi certified charger, just make sure the coil alignment is correct.

This can vary depending on grip. When using full palm grip, I would expect the majority of those with smaller hands to struggle with reaching everything without readjusting.

1. Basilisk blows the G502 out of the water in every way.

2. I'm not making it up though? And most of that length is from my fingers, btw.

1. Can it charge from the mousepad while you're using it? No, so then not better in every way. Does it have a super resource heavy software? Yes, heavier than G Hub. Did they copy the design of the G502 almost to a T? Also Yes
2. Reread what I said, it was a joke

It's hard to tell through a computer screen, man.

Also, does the Basilisk suffer from Logi's patented double clicking issues? Nope. Is it a literal brick like the 502? Nope. And who cares about being able to charge a mouse from the mousepad? Most people will use the mouse for the day and then plop it on a dock or what have you at the end of the night when they go to sleep anyway.

Oh well, I tried.

I will never go back to a mouse that does not charge from the mat, it is just way too convenient for me. I only had the double clicking issues while still under warranty. I like big and heavy mice and the g502 is far from being a brick
