I’m sorry I think our language barrier is complicating things.

Yes, your motherboard supports teaming. It will work.

However, you need a managed switch to share that connection with a network. An unmanaged switch will see them as two devices and get confused. A managed Switch can be programmed to recognize the “teamed” connection and share the “teamed” connection with the rest of the network as if it were a single device.
There is no language barriers for me.
You lucking patience, about to watch its posted image for 2 minutes carefully, read all text, and even you to learn something new from the glorious past.

Yeah, sorry, I don’t understand what you’re saying at all. I read over this thread a second time before my response to 1freedude, and read that thread you linked to, but don’t know how you came to the conclusion that an unmanaged switch will work because the software on your motherboard works.

Best of luck

Yeah there’s clearly a language barrier… You’re talking about the NICs, I’m talking about the switch.

I’m actually agreeing with you about what intel says. Idk how to say these things or clarify the difference more plainly.

Haha ok got it now, there is no simplified translations at pro networking.
We examine hardware potentials.
We examine OS compatibility factors.
We examine networking gear protocol compatibility.
We read piles of documentation.
And this is a job that brings food on the table.
And there is no knowledge sharing with outsiders.

Networking isnt nuclear physics my man. If you understand what you are doing you should have no issue explaining it.

Utter insanity.

Lol okay. All I’m saying is you need a managed switch. I know because I setup a PC this way over a decade ago.

This has nothing to do with your motherboard. Bonding has been a standardized protocol for over 20 years. I’m not a network professional, I just read some things.

You are very obviously not a professional, else you’d be aware of these protocols and wouldn’t be searching for answers on this forum (or looking at trendnet products, or 2.5G products, or even bothering with bonding when you can just buy a faster NIC).

I don’t know why you’re so combative and, frankly, arrogant, when all of this is pretty straightforward and people are just trying to help you. I’d link to the Greek wiki but it doesn’t appear to have a page on it.

Hell, just read the manual of the switch you’re trying to use. Is 802.1AX or 802.3ad listed?

Just one single PC ? with Pro/1000GT right? (NIC of 2003)

Good for you!

I picked up this one not long ago.
I know its not 8 port Kiria but I sacrificed 2 of the ports for forward longevity of adding 10Gbe. So if you can go 6 ports i highly recommend. It's been working solid for me.

It was my main PC with two Intel gigabit NICs connected to a switch, I wanted to try to saturate my connection to a backblaze storage pod that I got from a friend who used to work there  the pod was already configured :)

Edit: wait, aren’t you only setting up one pc? Do you know what a decade is? Tell me your insecure without telling me your insecure…

This is getting interesting. All my rigs have 10g, but my switch is only 1g. I have been looking at 2.5 switches, but Id much rather have a 10g as they have been around the block for some time and well, the network team at work will usually steer me in the right direction when stuff gets too heavy.

OP, Im curious to your findings, especially in the longer term for reliability.
Are you even remotely close to hitting that 1gb limit tho?

Still very niche cases demand that kind of throughput.

I feel always insecure when I get google search teaching. (most information's are outdated)
I feel always insecure when testing new drivers.

To sum up, I am stubborn when trying troubleshooting with a good strategy at hand for endless of hours, but I am not any stupid mule either.
I have said : I am after to test TPE-TG380 (as this be modern technology), and with INTEL teaming, if there is any undocumented feature, then I will discover it.
I have said: My motherboard this is not any random choice, I did much of thinking prior using PayPal.

TRENDnet its a very serious company, huge range of products, very busy as company, huge sales every day.
Even so we agreed, to receive my sample with a small delay because their European warehouse has low stock of them.

I feel no fear accepting (or admit) my mistakes, because there is no productive learning with out this process.

Today I did play with my current switch of year 2009 (ASUS GX1105B), I did run tests and confirmed of how this responds at INTEL Teaming, and of what my double NIC's ( year Q4'12) can do with it.
Now I am ready, to test TPE-TG380, when ever this arrives to me.

Proofs in thumbnails, for anyone interested. :)
Intel Teaming = investigation complete

INTEL NIC teaming has better chances to happen at Valentine's Day and it did.
IEEE 802.3ad + 2.5G switch, this is rare to be found combination, but TRENDnet did it December 2022.
We talked yesterday, now I am after their managed one as personal wish list.
Its up to them now, to decide.

I did convert @claes teasing in to useful and positive energy ;)
