It does...holy smokes. Some screen shots below with AMD overlay stats. I'm sure 144Hz gamers are going to say hold my beer at these screenshots.
After punishing my PC for several hours trying to get Horizon Zero Dawn stutter free again I realized the game was defaulting to borderless instead of full screen.
Once I got past that I jacked up the quality to max. With a bit of tweaking the frame rate can probably be improved a bit more for consistency.
4K didn't quite cut the mustard for being totally stutter free but is probably very playable.

Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeros (set to 4K but that didn't take, my monitor said it only actually switched to 1440p)
This time I check and stupid borderless full screen seemed to be the default and I switched it to full screen.
